About Us
Tired of anarchy servers? Tried of servers where stealing, PVP, and griefing are allowed and commonplace? SquidMC is the server for you! We are a semi-technical community survival server looking for more members. We hold biweekly server events and gladly welcome everyone from the complete Minecraft noobs to redstone wizards and master architects.
Why Us?
1.) Level playing field. No staff, no donation ranks, just pure vanilla gameplay. We’re so vanilla we don’t even have teleport commands, we use nether tunnels bby :B
2.) No resets. No one deserves to have their hard work erased. On SquidMC, we only delete far away, unused chunks to save disk space and we’ll never rest the map.
3.) Dedicated server hardware for optimal performance. The server is always running at 20 TPS — anything less is unacceptable.
4.) Experienced server owner. SqueezeTheorem is a computer science student with a background in Java programming, networking, and Linux. He has made custom tweaks for SquidMC such as the /coords plugin and the “Press F to pay respects” plugin that places deaths signs when players die.

Rules
1.) No griefing. In the event of a grief, we have LogBlock, a plugin that records every time someone places/breaks a block. Hours of griefing can be undone in a matter of seconds with a single command. We also have WorldGuard to lock chests and prevent griefing in the first place.
2.) No stealing. We believe in private property on SquidMC. You build it, you mine it, you craft it, it belongs to you.
3.) No hacking. Our anti-cheat plugins allow us to quickly detect would-be hackers and get them banned before they have the ability to negatively impact the server.
4.) No (serious) glitches. Things like carpet dupers, 0-tick farms, and TNT dupers are welcome, but game breaking bugs like universal item duping are not.
5.) No politics/religion/etc. We’re playing with glorified legos here — let’s not take ourselves too seriously 😉
6.) Use common sense, have fun, and don’t be r00d. 🙂

The best server among vanilla servers 1.17.1. The foundation of the project was back in 2020, when our still inexperienced developers were trying to do something that would attract people’s activity on the server and a scheme was invented to create a vanilla project with an anarchic theme. The server was opened many times and many times it went online until our developers had to take a break due to personal problems and a simple lack of time to develop the server. The server lost online and later closed down altogether. Now the server has been given a second life and is ready to tear all its competitors to shreds. “purple craft” is a 1.20.x vanilla survival server with Towny and optional PvP. Using TownyAdvanced plugin and /town,/towny commands, players can pay to create their own towns to claim land and to form powerful nations with many towns to share money and resources. The server features an Escape From Tarkov inspired map / raid area and weapons. Players can craft weapons, or loot and buy them in raid. Players can create their own shops and player warps to those shops with commands, but one of the best ways to make money is in the raidzone.
The raidzone is a pvp custom map area located at 0,0 with vanilla survival surrounding it. You can enter the raid at any time to loot and buy weapons, but you can only leave the raid by extracting at green beacons. All items you bring into the raid may be stolen by another player, so it’s recommended to team up or make a few kits to use. The only way to get the loot out of the raid is by surviving and extracting with it.
Inspired by Battlestate Games’ “Escape from Tarkov”, the rights to all references goes to them.
Weekends are potentially wartime events if declared by a nation that week, where nations can battle it out in a KOTH minigame to take political ownership of any town and pillage it, so grow your town by inviting more members and gaining global power! Rules
1) No griefing other player’s belongings. Unclaimed towns/settlements/chunks/blocks are fair game. Destroying blocks, placing lava, water, etc. Any form of modifying someone’s belongings is prohibited. Stealing from your own land and then leaving it is also not allowed.
2) No advertising servers and irrelevant links. Do not talk about other servers or products. Self promotion in general.
3) No spamming, cheating and abusing bugs/glitches. If you find an exploit, report it ASAP. Prolonging a report when you’ve obviously already taken advantage of it is bannable. This includes but is not limited to duplication glitches, money glitches, any form of exploits that gives you an absurd amount of items and/or currency within a short amount of time. Any form of clients that give you an advantage over a player.
4) Modified clients that give you an advantage over other players. Such as x-ray, blinking, reach hacks, etc. Example include but are not limited to If you can kill players easily, or find diamonds without even making an effort, it’s a no go. Minimap and waypoint modifications are allowed.
5) Be respectful towards others. No racism, bigotry, sexism, or slandering of others. Treat others the way you expect to be treated. Even the slightest toxicity in mannerisms or in a sense perceived as rude- gradually building, CAN get you banned. Watch your tone, realize this is just a game, and play nice.
6) No massive farms that can potentially lag the server. Having a large amount of anything that lowers TPS (Mobs, items, etc.)
7) Do not ask for staff positions on the server. **We will decide when to ask the player base for staff applications when necessary.**8) No deliberately TP trapping players, or unfair PVP tactics in general. This includes but is not limited to: player warps, land spawns, and combat logging.
