Numin’s SMP Server
This server was created with the intention of creating a community. It’s built on trust, friendship and creativity. Looking for a chill server to just play some Minecraft and maybe have fun with some friends? This is the place for you! We plan to host custom plugins, coded by myself, as well as other fun features in the future.
Features
Shops: At spawn, players can build their own shops and sell whatever they like! Could be items, could be services, could be anything!
Wands: Yep that’s right! Wands! As in wizards! I’m actively developing a plugin that allows players to craft wands with regular Minecraft potion making in mind. The wands will, for the most part, mimic potions in their effects. But they’re cooler!
Familliars: The newest addition to the server! In partnership with the wands, you can craft a spell to summon a Familiar (which is a magical companion). This feature is also in development. In the future, these companions will be able to aid you on your adventures and maybe even fight for you. Still in the early phases with this idea.
Creative: We do offer a creative world! Not your typical creative world though… This creative world features naturally generated terrain! Players have free reign to build where they want and whatever they want! Our goal is to fill the world up to the world border with amazing structures. Once filled up, we will either expand the border or we will save the world and start a new one!

FAQHow do I get whitelisted?
To get whitelisted, join our discord via discord.alinea-mc.com and check out #atmc-info. We do not have a formal whitelisting process. We will just ask you some questions, and feel if you are sufficiently trustworthy.
What is the age demographic of the server?
We don’t have a hard cut-off age, but we expect maturity from our players. Most of our players are in their late teens to early twenties.
What is the geographic demographic of the server?
We have players from all over the world, but most are from Europe and North America.
How big is the community?
Our entire community counts around 80 members, although not everyone necessarily plays Minecraft. Our Minecraft server has 30 whitelisted players, and around 10 of those are active players.
Where can I learn more about the town system, and how can I get elected as mayor?

How do I claim land?
Just like in Vanilla Minecraft, you cannot claim land. You can build somewhere, and other players are expected to respect your property. Because we are a whitelisted server with a relatively mature player base, this system has worked perfectly so far. In the worst case, we have some moderation wizardry up our sleeves.
Are there wars or other conflicts?
No. Alinea Together is a cooperative-style server, and PvP without consent of both parties is not allowed. The entire world is considered part of the server town, so everyone is expected to work together or at least not negatively interfere with others. This server is built around survival, with a twist! We offer an indirect democracy for our players.
Every two weeks there is an election in which players can vote on a member from the community who then gets to participate in the making of choices for the server. These choices could be as small as changing the color to adding a new server. However for resetting servers or large decisions we will hold polls to ensure every player’s voice is heard. If you have concerns please let yourself be heard on Reddit or Discord!
In case changes are simply not possible or plausible to implement but the majority of players is voting for the change, staff might step in and explain why a change will not be implemented despite popular demand.

On vanilla survival we keep your experience as close to vanilla as we can. Donators get chat perks in order to keep the server running but there are no plugins to interfere with your day to day gameplay!
