Having been around for over 5 years and being the oldest server of its type, we’ve created a community of fearless warriors, talented builders, contraption experts, peaceful diplomats and prudent strategists. We use a replica of the Earth world as the custom map to make the international relations even more tense.

The server runs on 1.15.2. and is mostly vanilla, with only some basic plugins. Unlike the other political servers we don’t have the factions plugin, which makes the claiming and land disputes less limiting and way more realistic.

Objective

Go from rags to riches! Start your life in the city by opening a small shop or getting a job, and end up a multimillionaire. Leaderboards are displayed on our website, so that top players can be looked up to by thousands. Monopolize with several businesses, own a multitude of real estate that new members buy or rent, and hire other players to do the dirty work! Our custom plugins allow players to do all this, and more. This server is one of a kind.

Description

Minecraft Cities is a server where players can live life the way they want. They can live an honest life by working their way up to become a millionaire, owning businesses, hiring other players, starting cities and collecting taxes, or by living a simple life and owning a small store. Players can also live the life of a criminal by living on the outskirts of the town or deep in the wilderness, farming and cooking drugs to smuggle into the city. They can become drug dealers, or perhaps mug people or rob their homes. However, the server has a very experienced police force, and if players are caught, they will be sent to court and then to prison, where they will be subjected to hard work. They can work and level up through prison ranks to get out, they can escape, or they can stay and have guards or friends on the server smuggle drugs and guns into the prison to start a blackmarket shop. Anything is possible in Minecraft Cities!

A completely vanilla SMP with a fully built out spawn and a very well-made Discord server

What makes my server unique is that unlike every other “vanilla server” out there, my server is actually vanilla. How many times have you looked around for a vanilla SMP just for you to find one that claims to be vanilla, and then you join and they have anti-grief protection or even small mods/plugins such as locked chests. Do you know how annoying this is? I hated this so much that I gave in and decided to make my own server.

Some features that my server has that is different from most servers is:

• A channel in the Discord server that links the Minecraft chat and the Discord chat to allow better communication

• A decently hard-to-get role in the Discord server called “Shop Owner” (It is much harder than what the title makes it seem, more info in the Discord)

• Completely vanilla unlike every other server that claims to be vanilla

• A fully complete Discord server that wasn’t rushed and was made by me (I’ve been making servers for almost four years)

• I give everyone several chances before getting banned and I’m not strict

• I don’t give people I know custom roles or special permissions such as operator or administrator just because I know them

• I play survival unlike almost every other server owner in which they go in creative or cheat to get stuff

• Simple Voice Chat (I still consider my server fully vanilla since voice chat is completely optional)

• Builds and shops will be at spawn which will make for a great community

• My server has 4 gigabytes of ram with a 200% cpu boost which allows fast server joining and chunk loading

This server is actively growing very fast so I hope to see some even more members from Planet Minecraft. My server is really well-thought out, has several cool features such as the Shop Owner role and chat integration, and I didn’t rush when I was making everything, so I hope you guys love everything that I spent hours creating.

About Us

What started off originally as a friend group playing Minecraft together, evolved into a full blown community server, made by players interested in the community and comradery aspect.

We like to keep it as vanilla as possible, while still having some quality of life features, such as teleportation, visual features like teams and colors.

Our focus is on the community and interactions, we suggest anyone about to join, has that same interest.
Establishing a good economy, with many shops with all kinds of items.
Maturity is important for us, don't jump into the server for the first time, run to someone's base, go through all of their chests and mess with them.

What we ask of you:

Be mature and reasonable
18 years or older
Change your discord nickname to "Name (In-Game Name)"
When you can, create a shop in the shopping district
Build your base relatively close to spawn and nearby other players (not a requirement)

Harder Vanilla Survival. Give yourself a tougher challenge and meet some awesome friends along the way. We’re a small group of people from around the world that like to play survival minecart and have fun together. Join us!

What makes Shaolin unique?
– Large Biomes with reduce structure generation in the overworld. (Strongholds, Spawners, Nether, and End remain unchanged)
– New 1.21 villager trade rebalance active.
– Do what you want. Build Farms, have a store, fight the Ender Dragon, fly with Elytra.
