Old World Survival is a new survival server. It has an economy, the ability to create shops, and land claiming. The server is new, so come make your mark. Griefing, hacking, exploiting, using x-ray texture packs, and harassment aren’t allowed.

The addition of McMMO allows for a semi-balanced but faster approach at achieving in-game goals without having to spend entire workdays on the server to achieve the same effect. We respect that people have lives outside of Minecraft and that not everyone is earning a living by playing it! 🙂
We also will never ask for donations, nor will ever offer rank purchases. Our server is completely free to play, and offers no benefits for monetary reward. The server is run entirely by the owner at their own expense with no expectations to fund it with players. We just want to have a good time like everyone else.

This is a vanilla SMP server for dedicated users who wish to be a part of a close and exclusive community. It uses a white-list, though we are currently open to applications (go to http://sputnik1net.org/mc/). We will likely remain on full releases of vanilla minecraft, as snapshots are often too unstable, and bukkit is too slow to update.

In this Minecraft server there are 2 major plugins, Lifesteal and Slimefun, slimefun allows you to craft really good gear that gives you an advantage over the enemies, but it isn’t easy to craft most of the stuff there, and lifesteal allows you to gain a heart after killing another player, but be careful you’ll lose a heart after dying!
Keepinv is OFF, so if you want to keep stuff after dying make sure to work hard for a soulbound rune, that allows you to keep an item that you bind the soulbound rune to!
