Who are we? We are a highly skilled team of friends ranging from Redstone experts, survival builders, helpers and festival designers! This server is all about an unreal player experience. We are always striving for the coolest new features to bring to a still-survival experience. We offer many player amenities like free food, voting rewards and /tpa. You can even use our discord and/or website to talk directly into the server. There are very few rules and hacks are always allowed. Ahoy, welcome to Castaway! A Minecraft faction server where you can set sail or travel on foot and trade gold ingots (yes, gold ingots is the currency) for items and other kinds of loot. The server has the pvp style of 1.8 with blocking and no attack cool-downs, 1.8 health regeneration, there is mcmmo as well and you don’t even take any fall damage. Lastly there is a recently added PvP arena as well! They’re are free boats at spawn for travel so come along and join Castaway today!

In this server you can build airships, submarines, and boats. You can create a faction and a base and team up with other players to raid other people and become a powerful force on the server. Airships and torpedoes can fire torpedoes which can help penetrate an enemies base and blow them up as well as destroy other airships and make them sink. For combat there are many different types of guns and military items which can be used to destroy your opponent. The guns have a texture pack which can be downloaded upon joining the server. Also you can catch a pet, there are many abilities a pet can have such as PvP, and riding which allows you to ride on the back of your pet. You can also use an on screen GUI which allows you to turn a mob disguise on which can help you go undetected inside enemy territory. There are also illegal items on the server. There are Police on the server and if you get caught you will go to jail, but these illegal items can greatly enhance your PvP and combat abilities. If you want to take a break from the main gameplay you can play creative and skyblock as they are also on the server.

Pappa’s Hermits is starting up now – I started on April 19th – and the current world will be up for a while, until I have found a group of capable and trustworhty hermits to start over with, or until I decide to start over – probably in 6-12 months.

The server is a whitelist vanilla Minecraft survival server with a few tweaks and quality of life improvements, intended for a Hermitcraft-like experience – ie. think big, make it look nice, and help eachother.

If you want to become one of Pappa’s Hermits you must be mature and trustworthy. Mature is not about age – you can be 10, 20, 40 or 80 years old – being mature is about showing consideration, planning, being meticulous in your builds and caring for how this Minecraft world looks.

I expect you to
– play on the server at least 2 times a week (exceptions for vacation og announced passive periods)
– be an experienced builder and strive to make your builds and surroundings look nice
– build the farms you need and gather the resources you need to build what you plan to build, instead of just hoarding resources
– do what you can to reduce lag on the server (reduce entities ie. limit number of armour stands, item frames, mobs and other entities, limit number of open and active hoppers, only have minecarts rolling and redstone contraptions active when you are actually using them, and not leaving boats and other stuff all around the server)

In MCLabs, you choose to be a CHEMIST or a COP. Chemists grow crops to turn them into illegal CHEMS and COMPOUNDS to sell. Cops try to arrest chemists and take the chems for themselves. Use money from selling chems to rank up, earning new perks and abilities to build your chem empire towards Chem Lord status, or to ascend the police ranks towards Operator status.

MCLabs has been running for over 10 years (formerly known as MC-Drugs/MCDrugs) and is home to unique mechanics not seen on any other server.
