we have posted on multiple sites.

As an owner of another server with many plugins , I started to miss that true, raw minecraft feel without any plugins that influence gameplay. In the Minecraft MP space I have noticed that sometimes, especially on PMC, there is a lack of just straight up survival servers.

We are a mostly vanilla server.

All users can set 1 /sethome, and the rest are quality of life (Silence chat, ignore users)

We do not use Essentials, GriefPrevention or McMMO
The World Border is 50k in each direction of spawn (-50,000 to 50,000)

Stealing Grief and PvP and grief are allowed – this server has minimal moderation.

BUT….

This is not true anarchy. We have quality of life commands and a set of rules.
Hacking is NOT ALLOWED on Summit Survival.

To avoid being disturbed, maybe dig your base underground and atleast 10-20k out. The world is huge, though.

Just because Stealing and Grief is allowed, doesn’t mean it needs to be a ruthless server. You can make friends and play with your friends in harmony, but choose your friends carefully. It is all on you. We are not constantly moderating and following up on grief.

We are a brand new survival server with custom plugins and a fresh map for our players to begin adventuring on.
Every player has access to a randomtp so you can find the perfect spot to start your adventure!
Our claiming system allows you to protect your home and loot from anyone who may try to steal, damage or otherwise grief.
We have a live reporting system for players to use should they encounter a bug, need in game help, or need to report someone they feel may be cheating. The report goes straight to the server staff who can handle it asap with no problems.
As soon as we have established testing on our custom plugins we will also implement ranks to reward players who are loyal to our server.
We hope to create a small community of players on our server and evolve it based on their suggestions and input

In the future we are also interested in adding more game modes to our network including creative and hardcore survival as well as others.

/giftpet to give your pet to another player. Right click with empty hand on a stair block to sit on it. Stand up by sneaking.

No cheating, no griefing, no x-raying, no botting. Minimaps are OK to use.

PvP is enabled but it works completely differently from what you think. It requires zero skill (this used to be a no-PvP server). Every player has a “base” which is the average location that the move around while playing. Usually that will be near their actual house/base/castle/whatever. When an player attack connects with another player, the damage is applied randomly to either the attacker or the defender. The closer one is to their base, the less probable it is that the damage will be applied to them. That means that fighting near your base and far from someone else’s base will give you an enormous advantage. Compasses point towards your base and will also tell you how far you are from it. Keep in mind that the distance that compasses give you from your base is the effective distance and not a straight line distance. The effective distance is what is used in PvP calculations and will be affected not only be the real distance between you and your base but also from how much you’ve recently moved your base around.

TL;DR: PvP is completely based on luck and not on skill and it favors a lot those that fight closer to their base.

Join DarkEmpire, its a brand new server which launched on November 13th 2020.
The server is a straight up survival server with several plugins installed to make the experience even better, we have a balanced economy which isnt too op.

With the Oracle Network, I founded this community after a long-loved community from years back died, and now i’m resurrecting it. Sofar We’ve been established for several months and now we’re expanding into vanilla while our first server was, and still is modded. This community has many goals in mind to provide everybody with a genuine community they can engage in and make new friends while learning the game more than they thought possible, with a custom-tailored survival experience with some sprinkles, our approach to vanilla is novel and gives players a taste of what vanilla COULD be. Our approach of keeping to the taste of vanilla over every step of the way honors what vanilla is already, alongside having an active and engaging community working, playing and pranking together breeds an environment of relaxation and ongoing accomplishments!

If you ever have an issue with another player, you can easily submit a ticket on discord, or DM a staff member to have it sorted for you.
Feel like becoming a business mogel? then setup your business(es) and corner the market on cake production.
Or if you don’t feel like opening a shop, then you can get a job and earn money just by playing the game.
With your hard-earned money, shop at the Black market dealer for some unobtainable enchantments, but bring some money because they will be expensive. But even then, you’ll need to find him.

And atop all of that, I started the community so everybody has an equal vote in where the server goes with polls for every major decision, and no, staff don’t get more important votes in the public polls.
