Heroes and Villains is a modified vanilla java server. Almost everything within the server has been created in survival by players.
Economy – We use a diamond standard economy for all base transactions. Players can set up shops across the server or at our designated shopping district to exchange goods and services. There is no admin shop so all items/blocks have been gathered and sold to and for players.
Skills – Players can hone abilities to help with the progression of the game. Gathering skills will increase you changes of get double or triple drops with higher levels. Combat skills will increase damage output and resistances.
Karma – Each player controls their own destiny and us given a title based on their play style. For example, players who often attack or kill will descend down the Villain path while players who breed and trade will eventually become Heroes.
Claims – All builds and items are protected from theft and griefing using land protect. Players will begin with a reasonable amount of land which can be expanded over time. Other players will not be able to access chests, break blocks or open trap door or fence gates by default, this can be altered using commands.
Events – The server regularly holds events to engage the community. Recently we have had players sponsor a mass boss battle night and are currently holding our bimonthly election for server Chancellor.
Proximity Chat – Our server utilizes a Discord bot in order give players the option to opt into proximity voice chat.

Origins: This server is sequel to Union SMP after it was shut down by the owner while it still had an active community. It happened to be shut down right before the very anticipated server update to 1.20 leading to the creation of this server. This is our second try, or sequel to our previous server, Mia's Origins SMP. We shut it down around a year ago but we decided to try again! We reopened relatively recently so don't worry about being late.
This is a modded, 1.20.1 Java edition server based around the origins mod. We have plenty of origins to choose from so we’re sure you’ll find something of interest! The modpack we put together was made to enhance and build on the origins mod. Such as proximity chat, new structures and generation, food and furniture, some silly additions, and even a new dimension!
We do our best to moderate and keep our community a safe and welcoming place. That being said, poor behavior and failure to follow the rules is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.

In 1.20.1, Stack of Grass Season 2, is a smallish server hosted in Australia with intent to have a close knit community with a focus on socialising and world building!
So, in short, what makes us different?
Player Base:
Whitelisted. Preferably 18+, we are looking for a chill ambiance on the server. This is the ideal server if you are looking for something calm with mature people.
The Gameplay:
Stack of Grass is trying to offer a "Vanilla+++" feeling to the world of Minecraft by adding Mods that enhance the building and adventuring world with several ways to progress through the game! The main feature mods on the server are “Ars Nouveau”, “The Graveyard”, “Chipped”, and “Mystical Agriculture”. There are a few QoL mods such as “Sophisticated Backpacks”, “Sophisticated Storage”, “Farmer’s Delight”, and “Waystones”. You can, therefore, expect A LOT more food, and A LOT of decorative items to make your area as attractive as possible!
The Commands:
Player have access to /home /sethome and other teleporting commands. Waystones are also available.
The In-Game Social:
We have integrated a proximity voice chat to the game for ease of communication, so a mic is a plus! Stack of Grass is trying to create a heavy emphasis toward community building in the sense of town building. Players are rewarded for establishing towns and creating "town building".
The Server Life:
Admins on Stack of Grass are adding scripted Dungeons. Rewards upon completion will be newly available after a few minutes. Gather your friends and take on the challenge we are creating to open various treasure chests and get that sweet, sweet loot! The server will be hardcore, meaning you have one life and you are out, incentivizing teamplay and careful planning before making dangerous expeditions. If you do die however, all hope isn't lost just yet. There will be ways to bring players back to life if you have enough allies out there who care about you. It wont be an easy task though, and would take some dedication, so don't expect just anyone to do it for you!
The world will be 100% player driven, meaning admins will not be interfering with events happening on the server, and players will be in control. Admins may do events for people to participate in for rewards, however any kind of PVP will not be included in these events. Large groups will be heavily incentivized as the world will be demanding and hard to survive in. Each player must find their role in their town and fulfill it to the best of their abilities to ensure the survival of everyone!
