Hello! My name’s Kyoko.
What is ‘Kingdom’?
This is a 1.19.4 survival server based on a popular Dutch YouTube series that was ran by the YouTuber called “DusDavid”. This series was very popular roughly 10 years ago at all ages around 10 to 25. The series had first started out as a simple survival world for DusDavid, where he would frequently invite friends and other youtubers to play with him in different episodes.
This eventually expanded to become something called “The Kingdom Project” During this project many “Kingdoms” would be created, all ran by other YouTubers who would all record their adventures on the server, this gradually became more and more popular. The various kingdoms even started to get their own ‘lore’, you had your typical “good” and “bad” guys, there were goblins, sort of mutants, gods, and so forth.
The series became so popular in The Netherlands that DusDavid and his team started writing scripts for each episode. It became actual roleplay!
Kingdom eventually ended when DusDavid became older and became a father, he no longer had time to do anything with the series anymore and dropped it.
What does that have to do with this server?
Well i want to recreate the first few years of Kingdom in my server! With completely custom kingdoms, semi-roleplay (no scripts) fully in survival. And in a newer version of course.
We currently have 3 kingdoms:
Kingdom of Hrothgar
Kingdom of Ottonians
Kingdom of Ardor (May be changed soon.)
Each kingdom has its own territory, which starts out small but can be expanded in the future with help of events. This map is drawn using the plugin Dynmap. The server is fully survival with minimum plugins, there are active moderators. (Moderators are seen as the gods.)
The server has a small set of rules, some dictate how kings may start wars with eachother and whatnot.
How do i join?
To join you’ll have to fill out the application seen below and send it to me in my DMs on discord or post it here in the comments! There are only a couple requirements that you need to follow:
You need to be 13 years or older.
You need to have decent knowledge of how minecraft works.
You need to have a discord account. (All server updates and such are announced on our server)
