Best Learning Minecraft Servers
We have been running a private server for a while, but wanted to launch a new public server. We have been managing a few smaller, whitelisted servers honing our admin skills, testing out plugins, and learning the ropes. Our server is run by adults, not children, and we look to build a civilized adult and young adult Minecraft server community.
PVP, Creatve, and Adventure mode are available on a separate worlds than the main world, as we feel there should be a variety of things to do around the server. Other worlds will be enabled as we see fit, or are suggested, and added through Multiverse, with Multiverse Portals for travelling between worlds.
GriefPrevention provides a unique claiming system for protecting your creations. We aren’t using Towny, but our players figured out a cool way to create player towns. Since then we have adopted a 3 separate player claims in a specific area including a town hall as a Player Town. GriefPrevention provides a great way for our users to easily protect their work from griefers. The latest versions also allow players to trade claims with others.
Aside from a few server plugins taking this out of the Vanilla category, we also run Spigot the Craftbukkit fork, which was formerly known as Craftbukkit++. It has some interesting performance enhancements that should help keep the server’s resources lower as the community grows, keeping lag to a minimum for the server cost. It’s apparently used by some of the biggest servers out there, so I’m thinking big from the start. Spigot includes a built in Orebfuscator in core, so the processing is much faster and more efficient than with the Bukkit mod. Spigot continues to amaze me.

Here at Critcraft, we have features such as Pixelmon survival, custom made shops, tournaments, epic gyms and much more! Critcraft has developed a custom plugin, called critcraftmenu, which allows every user to use all commands from one simple itemmenu. You can acces that menu mainly by doing /menu, /warp or /rankup. Everything will be super easy to understand, so you don’t waste time by learning how to play on our server!

Our server currently consists of four worlds for our players:
+ A survival world for all players to enjoy
+ A resource world for you to tear apart looking for resources
+A creative world with normal terrain generation
+A creative-flat world where you can claim a plot and put your favorite creation on display for all to see
In the survival world PvP is not allowed, but we have constructed a PvP arena for players wishing to duel each other.
Our server staff is friendly and active, and will be happy to assist new players in learning how to use our plugins, while also working to maintain a family-friendly and troll-free atmosphere for the server.
The following are absolutely not allowed:

+ Raging in chat
+ Real life threats
+ Advertising
+ Threats or actions of DDOS
+ Using hacked clients to gain an advantage over other players such as but not limited to: ForceField, Aura, AutoClick, AutoBow, AutoEat

With the Oracle Network, I founded this community after a long-loved community from years back died, and now i’m resurrecting it. Sofar We’ve been established for several months and now we’re expanding into vanilla while our first server was, and still is modded. This community has many goals in mind to provide everybody with a genuine community they can engage in and make new friends while learning the game more than they thought possible, with a custom-tailored survival experience with some sprinkles, our approach to vanilla is novel and gives players a taste of what vanilla COULD be. Our approach of keeping to the taste of vanilla over every step of the way honors what vanilla is already, alongside having an active and engaging community working, playing and pranking together breeds an environment of relaxation and ongoing accomplishments!

We have enabled some QOL plugins to help with our multiplayer experience so have no fear that your endless supply of bamboo will not be stolen.
Buy yourself a market plot, or setup a shop at your base and advertise it with ad spacing, though these come at a cost, visit the Market master’s office to buy yourself a deed to a plot.
If you ever have an issue with another player, you can easily submit a ticket on discord, or DM a staff member to have it sorted for you.
Feel like becoming a business mogel? then setup your business(es) and corner the market on cake production.
Or if you don’t feel like opening a shop, then you can get a job and earn money just by playing the game.
With your hard-earned money, shop at the Black market dealer for some unobtainable enchantments, but bring some money because they will be expensive. But even then, you’ll need to find him.
And atop all of that, I started the community so everybody has an equal vote in where the server goes with polls for every major decision, and no, staff don’t get more important votes in the public polls.

Dog Donut is a server aimed at the community rather than the traditional flashy looks and huge player hubs. I, Jordy, and my friends grew tired of the huge servers that seemed to emphasize who can donate the most money or kill the most people, rather than what we feel minecraft should really be about, community and fun. Because of this, we decided we would start up our own server and try to offer a place focused on player enjoyment for those who are looking for it!
