Our Rules are simple and minimal and are basically don’t be a dick. We are all adults, mostly in the range of late twenties up to early forties. So we expect players to be mature and able to regulate themselves without the need for moderation.
If you’re a redstone enthusiast you’ll find that we don’t place onerous rules on the use of redstone, and as the server runs on Fabric your contraptions should all work as intended. Just be mindful of lag and build accordingly.
If you love to build then you’ll find yourself in good company, we have many great builders who love to produce some amazing stuff from small detailed builds up to huge mega structures, all build styles are warmly welcomed here.
In fact, we love beautiful builds so much that we will be preserving builds across worlds. That’s right, when the time for a reset eventually comes we will paste any or all of the builds you want to save into the new world so that we can enjoy seeing them and if it’s not completed yet you can continue working on it. A reset no longer means your work is lost! Of course, resources and farms are the exception to this.
Our world is mostly vanilla with just a few of the vanilla tweaks datapacks that have become almost ubiquitous now like single player sleep and mini blocks.

At the moment due to the limited amount of resources the server can handle I can’t admit too many people, of course joining does not require any financial contribution which will remain onto me, the only thing I ask is to be active in the minecraft world and on discord as well. Currently the server has Fabric Carpet and Servux, will add performance boosting mods before it will open to more people. In general I want a community where we are all on the same level and decisions about what we will do about the community itself can be taken together.

Server Summary
Summit Survival is a semi-vanilla server rather than vanilla, because of some minor gameplay enhancements. We avoided restricting gamemodes such as Towny or Factions, or bloated land claiming plugins and have some quality of life features instead. What kind of QoL features? The ability to set homes and use /spawn (we have no TPA.) Most mobs including villagers can be leaded for easy transportation. Anti-creeper, enderman and ghast griefing plugins that ensures damage is only dealt to players, rather than builds.
Summit Survival employs a proactive staff team with comprehensive inventory and block rollback systems for loss due to griefers.
While griefing or altering any build not belonging to you in any form is forbidden, stealing from chests anywhere is permitted, except in community areas. Policing chest theft in a no claims environment would cause too much load for staff, however any block alteration is a banable offense and grief will be rolled back.
Rules
1) Do not use hacks, autoclickers, mods or x-ray texturepacks
Modifications that are only QoL are permitted. Modifications must not abuse Minecraft code, protocols or mechanics to gain an unfair advatage over other players.
2) Do not modify creations, farms or contraptions made by other playersRaiding from containers is permitted. Avoid building within 100 blocks of any structure without explicit permission from the original creator.3) Avoid being overly toxic in chats or during gameplay
Banter and jokes are permitted. This is a mature server. Slur usage, the harassment of other players, leaking coordinates and chat disruption are strictly forbidden.4) In community areas, do not raid from containers or engage in PvP
Community areas are clearly marked. Container raiding and PvP is prohibited in community areas, as it is counterproductive to the growth of server infrastructure.

You may wonder why we don’t have Discord integration or Dynmap integration. We like to always update the server to the newest patch as soon as possible, that’s why we try to rely on as few mods as possible. In fact, we are planning to update to 1.19, The Wild Upate, as soon as it comes out and seems to be stable and free of game-breaking bugs. We do use some Fabric mods, the most notable ones being the Fabric Carpet mods and Masa’s mods (Tweakeroo with Andrews’ mass crafting fork, Litematica, MiniHUD and Itemscroller). We also have some server performance and server management mods. You don’t need any mods on your client to play on the server. Commands:
Carpet /player commands are available to everyone. More permissions may be given in the future with the Player Roles mod.
Backups:
A backup of the world is made automatically every hour as long as one player is online. The 10 most recent backup folders are kept.
Rules:
1. Be polite, kind and respectful. We’re all here to have fun, and our time to do so is often limited, so let’s make the most of it by being nice to each other.
2. Don’t destroy or modify builds that aren’t your own without permission.
3. Don’t take items from containers (chests, barrels, shulker boxes, etc.) that aren’t your own without permission.
4. Don’t use cheats.
5. Don’t intentionally do anything that might seriously hinder server performance to the point that the server becomes unplayable or crashes.
6. Don’t abuse duping. Contraptions that rely heavily on duping will probably no longer work in the future, so let’s not rely on them too much. TNT duping and gravity block duping are fine, but we should probably avoid things like carpet duping-based furnace arrays, rail duping, tripwire hook duping, etc.. This rule is flexible and can be adjusted is that’s what the majority of the server wants. I’m personally not opposed to duping, I just don’t think we should rely on it *too much*.
7. Don’t build anything permanent in the spawn chunks, we keep it for community farms. The world spawn is at 0,0, so don’t build anything permanent between -256,-256 and 256,256

Server background:
Once upon a time I also looked through dozens of servers in search of “The One”, but after weeks of searching I realized one simple thing – the ideal server does not exist. Somewhere there was terribly low rendering, somewhere too big gameplay restrictions, somewhere it was simply unpleasant to play because of the terrible community. That's when I decided to make a server where I personally would be comfortable playing. So 4 years ago Vanilla appeared, which was hosted for 300 rubles.
I played here alone for a week, after which I decided to add the server to monitoring. I did not count on any popularity, or earnings from the server. No, I just hoped that several people would come in, in order to brighten up my leisure time by playing together. As you can see, 4 years have passed since then, the server has changed a lot for the better, a whole team of administrators appeared and many new and interesting people play here. This says something, doesn't it?

Why are there privates on the server?
Nowadays, everyone is crazy about rolling back broken buildings with the CoreProtect plugin, isn't it? – People started fighting not the cause, but the effect. For what reason should we spend time rolling back griefing if we can nip it in the bud?
Why is there currency on the server?
Of course, you can roll back to the times of the birth of economic relations and use barter, but for what purpose? Now we get currency by selling hard-to-get resources, the price of which changes periodically. We do not tie the currency to one single resource (usually it is tied to diamonds), and we also do not allow inflation through minimum prices for valuables.
Why is there a teleport here?
I asked myself this question a year ago and tried to make them paid for a start, thinking that it would diversify the gameplay. You should have seen the players' reaction to this action)) We all came to the conclusion that the teleport reduces the time spent on the most trivial things by a MULTIPLE amount and people simply do not want to spend several hours a day on boat trips around the hub, although I am sure that it is incredibly interesting (no)

Session 1 has concluded, and players are now establishing towns, multiple groups have formed, each with their own goals. The server runs from 12 PM EST to 10 PM EST daily, though may be shortened to 8 PM EST. The community is very friendly and many groups would be happy to take in new players!
Our server TerraFirmaCultures, is a large-scale civilization server using the TerraFirmaCraft mod as its basis. But this isn't just any other TFC server, we have a whole host of features to distinguish us from the rest. We have made custom crafting recipes to ensure all the mods will work seamlessly together and provide a immersive experience. The server will be hardcore, meaning you have one life and you are out, incentivizing teamplay and careful planning before making dangerous expeditions. If you do die however, all hope isn't lost just yet. There will be ways to bring players back to life if you have enough allies out there who care about you. It wont be an easy task though, and would take some dedication, so don't expect just anyone to do it for you!
The world will be 100% player driven, meaning admins will not be interfering with events happening on the server, and players will be in control. Admins may do events for people to participate in for rewards, however any kind of PVP will not be included in these events. Large groups will be heavily incentivized as the world will be demanding and hard to survive in. Each player must find their role in their town and fulfill it to the best of their abilities to ensure the survival of everyone!
