RPG-PVP is a game mode that is derived off KitPVP. Itβs a game mode in which players are given kits with unique abilities or spells (referred to as classes) with its own pros and cons. It makes the fighting experience more strategic against other classes and allows use of the mapβs terrain for your own advantage. Magic Spells
The unique magic allows you to do things that no other server lets you do – use nature magic to change the weather and time, or become a vampire, resistant to fall damage and able to turn others into your own kind… There are a range of magic classes that you can pick from as soon as you join in your class selection book.

The server also features a unique shop book, which you can use to purchase and sell items to the server or to other players in an easy way. Oblivion Forever is an RPG server with Races, Custom items, tons of spells, and a custom world to build, explore, and play on. Create factions and engage in PVP. There are custom mobs, loot, weapons, and armors along side with item attributes to make items unique.
Factions: Team up with your friends, make allies and enemies. Go on raids with your faction, engage in large scale battles against players, or custom bosses. With custom spells and items PVP will be different than any other Minecraft experience. TNT damage is disabled, but stealing, killing and betraying are allowed. You can build the creations of your dreams. Whether its from the Elder Scrolls, or just from your imagination. Each player has 45 power, or 45 claims of 16×16 to ensure players can build what they want. However, with faction economy land claiming can be expensive. Get together with your friends and build a castle, a town, whatever you can imagine.
Custom Map The map is 100% world painted by me. It took 20+ hours for me to make it. Complete with custom trees and even caves. The map is Tamriel, or the continent the Elder Scrolls series takes place on. Click the dynmap link to check it out. The dynmap is set up in a unique way as well. Your location doesnt show up on the dynmap if youre in a house, underground, or its night. You have to be exposed to sunlight to be visible on the map. So players dont have to be worried about being hunted down because of the dynmap. However, traveling outside during the day can be dangerous Bandit players may hunt you down.
Custom Mobs/Items/Merchants Everytime you level up your Hero, or your Race, You get a Voucher. You can level up by killing mobs, players, fishing, farming, mining, and more. Anyways, you use the Voucher to buy spells from merchants at /spawn. So leveling up pretty much gives you a skillpoint to spend on a spell. Theres a lot of spells as well. Over 200 are made, and over 50 spells are accessible in game. Custom Mythic Mobs spawn randomly in the world. These mobs drop raw loot, such as a hide from the monster- or the heart from a Daedra, ect. You can use these materials to buy custom weapons and armor from merchants. Armors and Weapons have special attributes such as Armor penetration, dodge rate, critical rate, regeneration, and more.

ABOUT THE SERVER:
The Vortex SMP is a modded, factions-based SMP built to be played with other people. With over 150 mods, you're sure to never run out of things to do. We picked these mods by hand, trying to retain a fantasy/steampunk feel to the game. The base Minecraft version is set to 1.19.2, and we will not be changing it, We can, however, change what mods are in the pack. ECONOMY:
Using the Lightman's Currency mod, we are able to create and use a coin-based currency of varying values to exchange for good and services from other players. Many players have full-time shops. Near the spawn area, you may find a small building. That small building is one of our player's shops, Cosmic. Cosmic can help you in all sorts of ways. He sells decent gear, if you have the funds necessary to purchase it, and he also sells carious items like food, potions, or artifacts. Cosmic can help you throughout your time here in the server, not just at the start. Using the Tetra mod, Cosmic can forge you stronger and stronger weapons as you grow into them, so long as you bring him the materials necessary.

The Shacknews Minecraft SMP is long running SMP formed around the Shacknews Chatty forum. Our community has been around since the late 90s, mostly geared towards PC/Console gaming and originally the website was focused on news for id Software's Quake. But grew to cover all gaming topics over the years. Considering we've been around since the 90s, most of our community is older gamers in our 30s-40s. We're welcoming to gamers of any age though!
Our community has been running a Minecraft server since the Minecraft Alpha days in 2010.Β Our server is PvE focused, mostly on building projects, redstone farms and is pretty laid back. Typically we haven't done server economies or shopping districts, usually shared farms and sharing resources with everyone playing on the server. We are always welcome to feedback, suggestions with all the members and very transparent with all server decisions.
Usually we reset the world for our server on every major Minecraft release, typically once a year.Β Sometimes it's gone longer between resets if a new Minecraft update hasn't changed much.Β The past few years interest in Minecraft has dropped off in our community and a lot of regulars depart.Β So we've decided to open up the server to players outside of Shacknews.Β We are looking to bring in gamers that are 21+ years old.
Our server is currently running a custom-made Fabric Modpack on Java v1.21.1. The modpack could basically be categorized as Vanilla++ with some good QoL and a few storage & tech mods thrown in! About us
Foxden is a small java sever that strives to be a fun and friendly place for almost anyone to play on, for the most part we are a semi-vanilla survival server however we have a few plugins and such to spice things up a little. As an owner I try my best to be active on the server and in our small community. We don't have any real official age restriction but we swear and some times may talk about stuff not suited for younger folk, so discretion is advised.
Current our map is about 2 months old but we don't have any plans to reset anytime soon.

Rules
1 – Must be a member of the discord, speaking in it is optional
2 – No slurs, homophobia, racism or anything that could be considered abuse
2a – No IRL politics, No controversial subjects, Nothing NSFW (all to be decided at mods discretion)
3 – No griefing, including modifying, damaging, killing animals or anything of that nature
4 – No stealing
5 – No using Farms or villagers without permission or if marked as public
6 – No PvP/killing unless it's during a minigame or with consent from both parties
7 – Inactivity for 3+ months could result in your property being transferred to moderator control (Exception can be granted if you talk to a moderator about it)
8 – Leaving the discord or being banned will speed up the process of rule 7
9 – Upon breaking rules it is the moderator discretion to either warn, Temp ban or Perma Ban
While these rules may seem strict we like to keep the server a calm and relaxed place. Plus we're also not harsh with the ban hammer, as long as you keep within the spirt of the rules we're pretty understanding. For example pranks and such are fine, even if breaks rule 3, as long as you don't ruin a persons work.

Join our Discord, read our rules channel, react to the message at the bottom and then put your minecraft name inside the whitelist channel.

OUR FOUNDING PHILOSOPHIES
This part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars that hold our server up and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future.
The Vanilla Experience
Dominion is committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any any plugins, datapacks, or otherwise which fundamentally make the game easier, harder, or different than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO, Jobs, NPC's and similar on our server.
In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond a shiny yellow name.
Transparency
We believe that it is each player's right to know exactly how much money is raised though donations and how it is spent. In the spirit of this transparency, we release monthly updates on all expenses and donations.
We are also completely open about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. During these times, we allow for open discussion and provide insight into any decision making.
Community Voice
We pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome comments, critique, and honest opinions. Through that openness, we are able to continuously improve our server and community because of your feedback.
For all major changes or addition to our server, be it a new plugin, settings changes etc., we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating.
Playing Together
We founded Dominion on this major principle: Create a space for players to play together, not just be strangers in the same world. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events ranging from one off quick PVP maps to massive large scale build-athons.
For those who prefer more long-term collaboration, we have a dedicated space in our Discord for larger player ran projects such as modern city districts, gaming districts, special mega-farms, and more.
New Content Now
When a new update drops, it can be frustrating to wait for your favorite server to update so that you can enjoy all of the new and exciting content. We purposely run a lightweight, almost-vanilla server so that we can give you that new content as soon as physically possible!
