Hillcrest is an SMP server with some extra features for those who are bored of typical vanilla. While the pure game is great, you have all seen it before. I have attempted to take some of my favorite plugins I have used over my Minecraft years to culminate a server experience that is fun, more complex and more rewarding than typical vanilla.
If you like pure vanilla and just the pure basics of Minecraft alone, this server probably isn’t for you. There is a huge amount of servers out there for vanilla.

Server Summary

It feels like a realm more than a server. Please apply for greylisting!

You wont be bogged down by protection plugins for large scale builds

We have avoided adding typical plugins like McMMO and rankup

World border is 15k x 15k, KeepInv is on and Difficulty is Hard

Server dynmap

200 Enchants (Thor, Beheading, Buchering, heaps of cool shit)

Slimefun (but with the super OP stuff disabled: androids, fortune 5 pics ect)

The server viewdistance is 14 (if you have a good pc like me this is magical)

Custom terrain to compliment a decent viewdistance (with a vanilla resource world)

Server Specifications
Because we run some pretty beefy plugins, have a high viewdistance, are on hard difficulty and have no mob caps we are on a top of the line hosting plan. We run on 10gb of ram and the dedicated core of an Intel Core i9 9900k. We will be upgrading to the 5950X when it is available.

Hillcrest is an SMP server that aims to be tight knit a server that is fun, friendly and interesting. We have various features including SlimeFun (with some adjustments) and Liquid Tanks that allow you to store and share liquids and XP. Our spawn is community focused and we are always seeking for new players to help expand on it. Currently it has a few shops and a public XP Farm. More server features are listed below:

You won’t be bogged down by protection plugins for large scale builds – TNT duping is enabled for land clearing.

Resource world for mining and cutting trees and custom world for fancy builds

Open concept spawn – build a shop and more

Welcome to Hillcrest!

Hillcrest is a survival server with a few extra features. We have a tight knit community and have just passed our 1 month anniversary. We focus on large projects and avoid the typical prevention plugins you find on most servers. Some of the plugins we have are listed below:

Custom world generation (fancy trees, large mountains, large plains)

SilkSpawners (mine spawners with SilkTouch for farms)

Difficulty is HARD, KeepInv is ON

Our server does have a greylist, so all users must fill out a quick application before given total access to the server. This allows us to weed out those who grief, steal or cause trouble.

We are a 1.16 Hermitcraft-like survival server with a awesome friendly 18+ community!

Just like Hermitcraft, we use some datapacks for 1 player sleep, mob & player heads and for a co-ord hub. With that in mind we are a “Semi-Vanilla” Survival Server. The closest to Vanilla you’ll get with anti-grief/stealing and server optimisations. We have no plugins that affect gameplay like /spawn /home /back, keepinv, land claim, etc.. Builds and items are safe because we use CoreProtect.

Hello!

I got bored and wanted to make a decent server with heaps of stuff to do that isn’t P2W. We’re a 1 month old server that gets around 10-15 people or so in our peak hours, just looking for mature cool people to come hang out and play MC. I’ll keep this post simple and outline the server and its’ features below.

A rankup system with 9 ranks. Guest, Member, Novice, Medic, Warrior, ect. It won’t take you ages to progress like on other servers. As you work your way up you get access to commands, such as /craft, /feed, /rename, /nick and more. The last rank has /fly, /top. Many other commands keeping it simple here.

McMMO, AuctionHouse, Jobs, AdvancedAchievements and SlimeFun.

1.8 PvP Combat.

A Plots World for PlayerShops, Farms, and just building.

SilkSpawners for everyone. Mine spawners with a SilkTouch pick.

Default permissions: 3 sethomes, /echest, /kit guest.

/wild for an easy start.

Difficulty is on HARD, But KeepInventory is ON. Essentially leveling it out to being Normal.

PvP is toggleable, you can choose. There is a dedicated PvP arena.
