Hillcrest is an SMP server with some extra features for those who are bored of typical vanilla. While the pure game is great, you have all seen it before. I have attempted to take some of my favorite plugins I have used over my Minecraft years to culminate a server experience that is fun, more complex and more rewarding than typical vanilla.
If you like pure vanilla and just the pure basics of Minecraft alone, this server probably isn’t for you. There is a huge amount of servers out there for vanilla.

Server Summary

It feels like a realm more than a server. Please apply for greylisting!

You wont be bogged down by protection plugins for large scale builds

We have avoided adding typical plugins like McMMO and rankup

World border is 15k x 15k, KeepInv is on and Difficulty is Hard

Server dynmap

200 Enchants (Thor, Beheading, Buchering, heaps of cool shit)

Slimefun (but with the super OP stuff disabled: androids, fortune 5 pics ect)

The server viewdistance is 14 (if you have a good pc like me this is magical)

Custom terrain to compliment a decent viewdistance (with a vanilla resource world)

Because we run some pretty beefy plugins, have a high viewdistance, are on hard difficulty and have no mob caps we are on a top of the line hosting plan. We run on 10gb of ram and the dedicated core of an Intel Core i9 9900k. We will be upgrading to the 5950X when it is available.

This server (YeeeetPros.minehut.gg) is a server with loads of fun mini-games. One of our spectacular events is dodge ball. As seen on MCC, two teams fight it out in an arena only armed with a bow and arrow. If your hit you are out. We have a draft where teams can choose you to play for a certain city, and seasons where teams compete for the top spot over a 10 week period. Now lets talk about factions. Upon joining the server you can either ask to join a nation or you may receive an invite. You can apply for factions either in-game or on discord. You might be wondering, “do I have to join a faction?” Absolutely not. its completely your choice, but factions can support you by giving you protection, resources and something else to do on the server. Plugins. We have some very unique plugins on our server such as Economy, Vehicles and QualityArmory. With Vehicles, you can explore the unexplored on our 15000×15000 map with little trouble. Your under attack? Weapons such as the iconic AK47 can help you out there along with over 100 other weapons. You might be wondering how to obtain all these wonderful things. By selling ores and other recources in the shop you can earn coins and work your way up to purchase a high end Plane and maybe a few firearms.
