Is Minecraft too easy for you?

Have you ever wanted to play on a server that was was fair but also gave you the freedom to do what you want?

Other servers protect land so you can never be raided or attacked by mobs. Some give you kits so you don’t have to get tools on your own. Others let you obtain spawners so you don’t ever have to leave your base again.

Not Gladius! We are a semi-vanilla server. That means we aim for a very vanilla experience – only with extra things that make multiplayer better, like /tpa, /sethome, /warp, etc.

We are also a semi-anarchy server. That means while using cheats/mods/hacked clients is against the rules, pretty much anything else goes! You can raid, you can grief, you can kill, you can insult, or you can be friendly and build. Hell, you can even raid, grief, kill, and insult staff members! Minetown is a classic survival server that has been around since September of 2010. We have a fun and friendly community and we welcome every type of player! Economy – Our economy revolves around the player. The server currency can be obtained in a variety of ways, making it easy for all players to get involved in the economy. A widely used method to obtain currency would be to set up shop in any location or in our market area. Prices of items are not server regulated, giving the player an equal chance to succeed in the economy. In addition, many normally unobtainable items are available in the admin shop near the center of spawn.

Spawn – Minetown’s spawn area is simple and small, allowing new players to find their way out quickly and easily. We also feature a rail system that stretches to the furthest areas of the map, allowing players to build as close to spawn or as far away as desired.

History – Minetown has been around since September of 2010. We’re proud to be one of the oldest servers around! In the last 8 years, we’ve had the opportunity to build up some rich history, and a dedicated community of friendly players. In all of our history there have only been three survival maps – Classic, Agharta and Main. Our website has been running just as long as our server, and we are proud to have over 47,000 registered users on our Enjin forum!

Freedom – Having been around for a long time has allowed us to design a system of rules and a collection of plugins that allow us to improve everyone’s playing experience without impeding on anyone’s freedom. Our server guidelines and rules can be found in detail on our website if there are any questions about what is or is not allowed.

Staff – Our staff is just as friendly as our community and are ever present to make sure that we can provide as much enjoyment as possible. To ensure staff do not ruin the player’s experience, they are subjected to strict policies to make sure your playing experience is fair and enjoyable.

If you are english, this server is an american server. Join for zombies and guns.

This is a mainly American server, but you don't often have to chat with other people. It would be great if you know English, but nobody forced you to speak English on this server.

10 most important things:

No ranks, no moderators, no special plug -ins/assignments – (except 1)

The only exception to the assignment is /trigger turret_settings, used to configure turrets.

Turrets are essential in the defense against zombies (see recipe book)

Recipes for weapons and ammunition can be found in the recipe book for the craft table.

The arms controls are: f to recharge (offhand key), right-click to shoot. Bend to target.

Every 7 days there is a blood moon that produces a lot of zombies

Bloodmans are incredibly difficult without a base defended by turrets.

Zombies are incredibly difficult to fight by hand, with weapons and ammunition.

Certain variants of zombies can break and build, be wary.

Have fun and play honestly. (Shooting people is honest play.)
