Vi som driver Ovania är inga mindre än Philip, Vinz & Alienboy och vi gör det för att alla ska känna sig välkomna och vårat motto är att nybörjare till proffs ska kunna gå ihop och ta lärdom av varandra. Anno Domini (AD for short) is a relaxed historical role-play server set in the year 1AD! This server is set on a 1:1000 scale Minecraft map of Earth with a spawn point in the land of modern-day Ethiopia where players have access to warp portals to each continent.
New players will be considered nomads until they apply for or get invited to a nation. Each nation starts off with a 3×3 chunk of land and must build their nation from the ground-up, hovels to empires. Nations claim land to expand their territory and are required to mirror the claims that their nations would have had in real life, but other land can be claimed as long as their real-life land is claimed first. These nations are able to settle disputes via organized and moderated warfare for any reason when their application for war is approved by an admin.
Players are encouraged to roleplay how they would like (E.g. class structures, themed Minecraft skins, religions, and nationalism) for the pursuit of making this server a fun place to be!

A good, simple survival server, running since 2012, close to vanilla but with the addition of Grief Prevention to allow players to claim land to protect their houses from griefing. PvP is enabled, and there is an all-new epic PvP arena, although PvP isn’t the focus of the server – there are plenty of players who play only to build, and do not partake in PvP, along with some who do play to PvP. The spawn area is PvP protected, and the Grief Prevention plugin means you’re safe if you build a safe house. New players are also immune to PvP for their first week (although they can remove the protection early if they wish).
We have a friendly and helpful community, with a wide mix of ages and nationalities.
The world is unlimited, and the spawn building (reachable anytime with /spawn) has portals to “sub-spawns” to help spread out and find untouched land more easily – including one (red) in all-new 1.13 chunks for all the Aquatic Update goodness.
