Our server was started by two friends. One new to Minecraft and the other an experienced Factions and Minecraft player. We run our server on 1.8.8 PaperSpigot to bring you that original Factions feel without Pay2Win Donor ranks, McMMO or added features, such as Creeper Eggs, GenBuckets, ChunkBusters, OP Enchants, Custom Enchants, Unlimited Silk Touch Spawners, or Spawned Items such as too much Gold or Enchanted Apples, Free or Cheap Obsidian or Bedrock. Everything on our Matsulyu is hard earned and paid for by skill, time and effort.

Dinoz.io is a player-economy survival server operating on 1.14.4. We have multiple worlds to offer for most desired styles of game-play, such as GriefSurvival (PvP and Griefing allowed), AntiGriefSurvival (PvP allowed/no griefing), and FriendlySurvival (no PvP, no griefing). In addition to survival worlds, we currently run two styles of mini-games: Spleef and Snowball Fight (a paintball style shooter game). Playing these mini-games will earn in-game currency, which we call Rupees. The server also offers player-owned shops or an auctioneer role in order for players to exchange currency and items with ease! Check out this brand new server today. Rules: Plain and simple, we want people to have a good time. Follow the posted rules for each of the three survival worlds: FriendlySurvival, GriefSurvival, and AntiGriefSurvival. Aggressive and foul behavior will not be tolerated. Teasing is fun up to a point. Don’t complain if you lost items because of failure to read the information given to you. Farlands is a simple Minecraft Realm on the Latest Minecraft Snapshot and we are looking for more people to build a community with! With the server currently being hosted on realms, there are limits to what we can add, but that is also part of the charm. We aren't currently looking to host a plugin-based server, but maybe as the community grows, so will the server and what it offers.

For now, we have a handful of quality-of-life datapacks and will look to add fun but simple datapacks in the future during stable releases. After applying and gaining access to our Discord, anyone can suggest what to add there!

Why Realms and Why Snapshots?

These decisions came out of a desire to keep things simplekeep the game minimally altered, and keep the server management experience minimally involved. Play Minecraft, and play it with others.

It's always cool to check out the latest snapshots, but getting to experience them is something else entirely. With recent additions like bundles and Minecart gamerules, and changes to Realms, it seemed like the perfect time to try things out.

Why join us?

We're people who enjoy Minecraft and enjoy coming back to it often, the simplicity, pure creativity, joyous fun, and wild adventures always draw us back to play. If you feel the same way and want to play amongst friendly and sometimes feisty people, you should apply!

The Future:

As mentioned before, if the server needs to grow and grow out of the constraints of Minecraft Realms, it can. This would mean switching to a paper server with plugins, but the core idea wouldn't go away unless the community requested otherwise. For now, the server will remain on Realms in the latest snapshot. In the near future, the server will likely shift to the latest release version of Minecraft instead of snapshots as they come out.

Introducing, the Salvaris SMP: We are a vanilla SMP with some custom crafting recipes and server-side mods that are meant to lightly tweak vanilla Minecraft. We are looking for long-term/dedicated members who want to join our community.

Some features we have are:
– Player-run economy based around building shops in a centralized shopping district
– Elected government to control different regions of our island
– Elected court system to enforce the rules fairly on each other
– Custom events to maintain interest
– Custom datapacks, plugins, and crafting recipes to improve quality of life and gameplay

FAQ:

Q: "When does the server start?"

A: We are launching on October 12th! This gives us admins time to prepare for events and get a good player base before the season starts!

Q: "What are the rules about hacking, griefing, stealing, and PVP?"

A: Hacking and griefing are banned, stealing from chests is banned, and PVP is allowed.

Q: "Will I have to install the mods?"

A: Nope!

Q: "What is the average age on this server?"

A: We have members ranging from ages 14 to in their 20s, but our average is probably around 17 or 18.

Q: "How often will the server reset?"

A: In our server, we do resets once a season (ideally every 3 months). These resets are not "hard resets"meaning that instead of creating a new world, we move to another region of our 40k x 40k pre-generated world. This ensures that even when a new season starts, all the old seasons' content is still present on our world.

Q: "How active is the server?"

A: Our server normally has between 6 and 10 people online during weekdays, and up to 20+ during weekends.

Q: "Does the server have lore?"

A: The server, although not based on any preexisting lore, does have its own lore, which is why the whole staff team tries our hardest to create interesting events that involve the whole server.

Q: "Can I invite my friends?"

A: Yes! As our community is growing, we encourage anybody to invite any friends who would be willing to play!

Q: "Does the staff team abuse admin powers/console?"

A: We've implemented different ways to ensure admins cannot abuse admin powers/console: Admins must enforce rules impartially. Every admin with operator permissions has 2 accounts, one of which is not allowed to be given op perms at any time. This ensures that no admin can abuse their power.
