This server is for all players looking to have fun and takes a more balanced hands off approach. Obvious griefing with lava/water is bannable, but typically very few enforcement needs to be done. All player reports are filtered through discord and enforced the same week of the offence. We do run anti-cheat that will kick offending players. Generally, all cheating is logged and passive enforcement is done unless it is blatant and annoying.

Crossroads RP is a medieval fantasy Minecraft roleplay server with plugins to allow for a TTRPG system homebrewed from Dungeon Crawlers Classic and an old web series called “URealms”. As well as mechanics decided upon from years of DMing on Minecraft. It is generally loose in lore, system, and everything else to just offer as a grand medium for our Dungeon Masters to entertain different people. However, this is not the final idea for Crossroads.

Throughout your time on the server, you will be able to roleplay your “Tavern Character” casually in between Tales (campaigns) and events. The main gameplay comes from the Tales of course. Within a Tale, you will play a separate character, akin to playing a TTRPG game, where the Dungeon Master will set up Minecraft builds for you to progress through. Maybe you will be a dwarven swashbuckler or maybe a construct bard.

Crossroads RP focuses is a roleplay community that uses the medium of Minecraft as a way to tell interesting and diverse stories. The strong focus on such allows for the server to be devoid of intensive politics, and arguments. The server has been designed with the simple sentiment of: ‘A place to have fun whilst enjoying roleplay in a grand spiralling storyline’ and this comes in from a mixture of interesting gameplay, longstanding character pay-off, and a LACK of players trying to enforce a certain RP dynamic onto someone.

What originally began as a for fun project amongst two brothers, OliverCraft had its early beginnings on a home server located in the heart of Florida. What started as a whitelisted place for us and our close friends to gather soon flourished and expanded beyond the capability that a single server could handle. Now, with almost our first year since going public behind us, we are still a 24/7 online 1.8.8 server, now professionally hosted, offering a wide array of excitement for our ever-growing community. We have built our server and tweaked it to perfection by listening and catering to our players suggestions and requests. With the mindset of freedom, we also do not believe in shoving a ton of rules down your throat therefore, our rules are quite simple: dont be stupid and play by the golden rule. SURVIVAL

We feature two vastly different survival worlds for our community. While one is amplified terrain, the other is more normal terrain. We feature McMMO, player jobs, diseases, admin & player shops, community post offices, malls, banks, hospitals and much more all inside of a protected town complete with player homes available for rent or purchase. We offer chest locking security and grief prevention and encourage our players to protect their belongings from those with ill intent. We have also disabled PVP in the survival worlds to discourage the types of crowds it tends to attract.

CREATIVE

Our creative plots are some of the largest in the industry today featuring both WorldEdit and VoxelSniper. These tools come with zero strings attached meaning youre free to use them at your leisure. We do not remove tools after 24 hours simply because you didnt vote for us we believe in freedom here at OliverCraft. Building contests are also a great way for you to earn extra loot and prizes.

MINIGAMES

Our minigame hub boasts a selection of more than a dozen games for you to compete in and become a master of. While PVP may be disabled in all of our worlds, we realize there may be times you need to settle a score or two so we feature one of the most exciting custom PVP minigames out there today. We also feature games such as Skyblock, TNT Run, Survival Games and much more.
