Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! We reset only two weeks ago for our new 1.21 season, and are fighting the dragon shortly!
I started Elysia several years ago, and I've since had the privilege of watching it grow and flourish into such an incredible community. There're players who've been here since day 1, and players I've become close friends with.
Server hosting was a hobby I picked up in 2013 as a kid hoping to just find a few people to play Minecraft with, and between then and now I've ran several servers big and small but none have stuck in my heart quite like Elysia has. This server will stay running until there's nobody left playing this game.
While marked as semi-vanilla, the actual experience is identically vanilla. We just use a few plugins to prevent grief, hook into discord, have a web map, etc.
Elysia is a whitelisted serverwhich is an important filter in making sure everyone you'll meet is friendly, accepting and an overall pleasant addition.
LGBTQ+ Friendly is a core belief of ours, and inclusivity is something we won't compromise on.
16+ Dedicated Players. While in the past we've had some friendly <16s, as the original community grows older and as we've shifted directions (with features like voicechat) a higher age requirement just made sense. It's also provided a much more relaxed vibe and allowed us to host events like a several hour long Minecraft DND night (which we did a few times last season).
With that said though, we have an array of activity and skill levels ranging from casual players to people that clearly must have longer days than I given how incredible some of their projects are.

We are a community centric survival world that strives to strike a balance between vanilla gameplay and multiplayer features that keep people around! That means keeping core features like griefing and open world PvP while allowing greater interactions with custom TP commands at limited scope.
Vanilla as possible:
Nether roof is good to go and bedrock break all you want. Don't even hesitate to make a stacking raid farm! Any vanilla farm you can dream up will work for us, and if there's issues always hit up our #support ticket system. TnT and rail duping is good to go! We have one rule involving gameplay, NO CHEATING. My name is Wilderop, it is a gamer handle I chose in 1996 (approx.) when playing one of the first multi user online games. Now I invite you to try a place where there are very few rules. If you don't hack or cheat, if you don't spam excessively (so much others can't talk) or advertise, then you can do whatever you want on this server.
You can grief, you can steal, you can be a general piece of shit. Hey we are all pieces of shit sometimes heh? Maybe; however, you will decide to do what most of the players on the server have decided to do. Live in peace most of the time and work together. That's right, this is an anarchy server where people choose to work together, not because they are forced too.
