With Towny at our core, an Economy is essential – All money can be earned by with /Sell.
Gold, Copper, and Emeralds can be sold in ANY FORM (Nuggets, Ingots, Blocks, etc.).
Selling items as Blocks earns 10% MORE than Ingots, and Ingots earn 10% MORE than Nuggets.
By default, you are a Nomad looking to Claim land to start your Town, or Join others.
ALL TOWNS HAVE RENT! Rent is based on Town Size and can be paid with your Bank by using /Towny Deposit.
This is where starting a Shop and Mining for currency becomes important.
If you don’t pay your Rent for a few days, That’s OK! All towns have a small Debt Limit, for safety reasons.
If you hit your Debt Cap, your town will be Deleted, leaving your base open to Attack!
Be sure to always have money in your town bank, so that you can feel safe when logging off!
If a Town gets large enough, it can chose to become a Nation.
Nations host Towns within their Regions, and can develop much more In-Depth Ecosystems.

Do I have to donate to the server? (Short answer is no.)
We do accept donations, but if you can’t afford it or don’t want to, there is a way to get everything you need by playing (all ranks are timed except for Elite VIP.) Loyal players that reach Elder get the same permissions. Voting for the server is a fantastic way to help our server grow even more. one of the owners has a well-paying job and is happy to keep the server running (since 2014) without donations.
The owners do have full-time jobs but are masters at working both the server and real-life work at the same time. We take your suggestions with priority, and we work FOR the guests in the game as well as working hard to manage/fix and resolve anything that comes up in an impressively short time. This part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars that hold our server up and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future.
Dominion is committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any any plugins, datapacks, or otherwise which fundamentally make the game easier, harder, or different than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO, Jobs, NPC's and similar on our server.
In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond a shiny yellow name.
We believe that it is each player's right to know exactly how much money is raised though donations and how it is spent. In the spirit of this transparency, we release monthly updates on all expenses and donations.
We are also completely open about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. During these times, we allow for open discussion and provide insight into any decision making.
We pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome comments, critique, and honest opinions. Through that openness, we are able to continuously improve our server and community because of your feedback.
For all major changes or addition to our server, be it a new plugin, settings changes etc., we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating.
We founded Dominion on this major principle: Create a space for players to play together, not just be strangers in the same world. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events ranging from one off quick PVP maps to massive large scale build-athons.

We are a new server – our community and buildings are all since mid February of 2024. Our current map is 14k by 14k, and will continue expanding to make new vanilla content accessible as it is released and accommodate more players as the server grows. Our vision is to have a server that is as vanilla as possible, while also addressing various QoL issues that come along with a large playerbase on an unwhitelisted server. As such, we have implemented a handful of plugins including renewable elytra (via the ender dragon fight), a simple chest shop system using currency that is interconvertible with diamonds, and night skip with just one player sleeping.
We have an outstanding community of builders! From skyscrapers and cozy villages to high-efficiency iron and raid farms, we have it all. We also have a nether roof transportation hub easily accessible from spawn and with blue ice boat paths. Want to see more? Our photo galleries linked below. There are plenty of active players who are happy to help you get started and fill in the gaps for you!
We have no land claims plugin, but rest assured your builds and items are safe. We use CoreProtect, a plugin which keeps detailed logs of blocks, items, entities, and more. It allows for custom, precision rollbacks of specific players, time ranges, locations, and more. This allows for convenient grief reversal in real time. The CoreProtect inspect command is enabled for all players which allows you to check the logs of containers and blocks; you can see if alterations have been made by someone who does or does not have your permission without needing staff assistance.
Community First: Our primary goal is to foster a fun, cooperative, supportive community on our server. Profit from the server is not a short or long-term goal. We want to scale and develop our community, but at a pace that is reasonable and sustainable.
Long-Term Map: We plan to never reset the map. We want builds, farms, and communities made on the server to be permanent, and this is why we have opted for an expanding map to incorporate content from new releases.
Golden Rule: Respect. Other. Players. You can see a more precise list of rules on our spawn board or Discord server, but in general all rules follow from the simple principles of respecting others and using common sense.
Work Hard, Play Hard: The server is on hard difficulty. There is no keepinventory, no /tp, no /back, no warps other than /spawn and /home, and staff will not use tools to roll back legitimate deaths or mistakes that do not violate the rules. We hope in our community you will become a pro gamer, and this means learning to navigate all the difficulties of the Minecraft world, even if they are sometimes frustrating or inconvenient. We aim to preserve the minimalism and realism of Minecraft, as we believe these features are essential for maximizing players' sense of immersion in our world and community. We hope you will feel the same way if you give it a try!
No P2W: We do not and will not even remotely resemble a Pay to Win server. We do accept donations. There are currently no perks for donors, but if any future perks are added they will be purely cosmetic (e.g. colored names or tags in game or on Discord).

Main Features:
Towny – We use the tried and true Towny plugin for land claiming and community building! You can create a solo town and build massive farms to become rich, create a huge city with tons of members to help you achieve your goals, or join a town with a couple of friends to create a cozy homestead.
Skills – You can level up fourteen unique skills to increase your stats (such as health, defense, and attack damage). Reaching the highest levels in each skill unlock unique abilities to make you even more powerful!
Jobs – We offer thirteen jobs that pay you for anything from mining, to building, to fishing, and everything in between. Jobs are the most important way to build your wealth on the server.
Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! Shops on the server set prices for goods and services without any intervention, this leads to a very organic economy where you can carve out your own niche. The only admin shops on the server can be found in our mall /warp mall. These shops sell custom furniture blocks like tables and chairs to decorate your base!
Custom Enchantments – Our server features over 200 unique enchantments to build your playstyle the way you want! All enchants are achieved through normal gameplay mechanics.
Craftable Gear – You can craft tons of unique custom armor sets, tools, and talismans to become more powerful or add unique abilities.
Custom Resources – We have resource worlds which reset on the first of each month! Here you can find custom ores and plants which can be used for decoration or can be used to craft some our custom gear!
Custom Fishing – We just released our very own custom fishing system with 170 custom fish to catch! As you catch new fish species you'll unlock them in your "fishdex" which provides information about the fish to share with others in the community who haven't yet caught that species. Can you collect them all?

Summit Survival takes SMP back to the fundamentals. No limits are placed on productive gameplay, and this server is for those who enjoy creating complex redstone contraptions and large scale builds, or simply enjoy exploring and collecting. There are no land claiming plugins on Summit Survival and our staff team takes a hands off approach to allow players freedom for their own playstyle, BUT we have a no griefing policy that is VERY strictly enforced. Aside from very simple rules to keep things productive, you can do whatever you like.
