Who are we?

We’re a fresh server looking for passionate builders to help build a roleplay and adventure centric fantasy server before its formal launch! Builders don’t have to have tons of experience and can have long-term or short-term positions (you can help with a single pathway or make a giant castle to assist us) and have the possibility of playing as normal players after the release if they choose (with or without a custom rank that we offer to each builder!) and we take extra care to fully publicly credit every builder for the work they do on the server!

Our goals?

We aim to make an extremely unique never done before complex fantasy map with many high quality quests and roleplay aspects that transport you to our mystical lands! We plan to have many features that separate us from other fantasy roleplay servers!

The Minecraft Library of Babel is a library that spans an entire Minecraft world. It contains every possible combination of 15 characters. That’s over 100 quintillion books (1 followed by 20 zeros).

How do I browse it?
A world download would be approximately 400 petabytes in size, so instead you need to use a custom Minecraft server. You can download the source code for this server hereor join this server which will be hosting the world 24/7: mclob.doteye.online (currently on Java version 1.18.2).

You will be placed in a random part of the library. Right click on a bookshelf to open it and take out books. The books will respawn so don’t worry about putting them back. Type /help for a list of commands. The most useful command will be /search, which lets you find where a specific page is located in the library.

FAQHow does this work?
Each time you open a bookshelf, the server uses a special algorithm to convert the coordinates of the bookshelf into a series of books. The algorithm ensures two things:

The same bookshelf always contains the same books.

No other bookshelfs will generate the same pages.

This way, the pages are never actually stored on the server (that would take up too much space). Instead, they are generated on the fly.

Why only 15 characters per page?
Even though Minecraft worlds are so big, they’re only big enough to fit all 15 character books. If I tried to fit all 16 character books, I would need to store 27 times as many books and there simply is not enough space in a full Minecraft world for that.
Why do other players rarely move?
In order to reduce lag and support the most amount of players on the server at the same time, player position updates are done at very rarely.
Why can’t I do _____ on this server?
In order to reduce lag and support the most amount of players on the server at the same time, many common Minecraft features are not available including throwing items and syncing player state.

The Triumvirate is a unique semi-Vanilla server that provides an awesome community for everyone to experience!

We have a very
smooth customized experience with very little changes from traditional
vanilla but with many quality of life and RPG improvements.

The Server
continuously evolves depending on community input and relies on feedback
and player votes to determine world direction.

We run it as a medieval-fantasy semi roleplay server and players are encouraged to stick to a theme when building.

We have had two
previous small scale servers successfully run for several months at a
time, changing for major updates and now with 1.19 release we have
started fresh. We decided to open the server up to more players and have
reduced entry requirements, operating under a whitelist first, ask
questions later policy.

Main Features

McMMO

We run a slimmed down McMMO plugin with salvage and repair disabled as they can be abused.

Economy

We run Essentialsx Economy, so you are able to sell and buy, as well as create shops using a light shop plugin.

GriefPrevention

We run a landclaim
system. Players only get a small amount of claimable area and increase
this amount as they play. It only prevents block damage and chest
stealing.

Quality of Life Improvement

We have many
quality of life improvements in the form of both plugins and datapacks.
We wont go into too much detail here, but we encourage you to discover
them all.

Rules

We want people to
have as much freedom as possible. That’s why we have very flexible rules
and provide plenty of warning before instituting bans etc. They are
available on our discord.

As a note, Griefing, Murder and Stealing are allowable to an extent so long as it doesn’t constitute abusive harassing behavior

Three

Although we have a
whitelist, there are no annoying applications you have to fill out. We
do this so we can keep track of joining players and not suffer random
joins that create large scale disruption.

You do not have to have
Discord to play. BUT it is is highly preferred for players, so that they
can receive the full experience we have to offer.

This server is not for any messers, but relaxation & fun is highly encouraged..
As is the case with any other server, there is a list of important rules to be followed:

Who Are We?

Liven MC is a new, modern survival server with a focus on community and reliability.

VirtuCraft Network is one of the newer servers out there ,with a very small player base.
We have only been open to the public for a few days, but dont let that discourage
