Hello all! We are currently looking for mildly to extremely active players to join the Minecraft server known as the Something SMP! We have lore/roleplay on a modded server (mods of which include origins, image to map, enderite, claims, voice chat, and discord integrations, just to name a few).
However, it is NOT a requirement to be a part of the lore if you just want to play on the server!!
Just a heads up, though, there are a few people on the server who do stream, so if you're uncomfortable with appearing on livestream, that's something to note.

About Experium SMP:
The Experium SMP is a whitelisted vanilla server running on 1.21. We started a brand new season with a fresh world a little over a month ago and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a long-term dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.
Our current season began on June 1st and we just recently updated to 1.21. Some of us are still working on our starter areas while others are starting to move to late game projects and getting our shopping district going. Whether you'd prefer to enjoy the early game grind or get some help with gearing up from from our current members, there's still room for all.
This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.
This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. Magic Horizons is a survival multiplayer smp with a map that will never be reset! The server was started in 2023 on version 1.19 and has been growing ever since! We have a small but dedicated player base that are very chill and just want to hang out and play. We run the geyser mod so we are able to have bedrock players join!
We have custom models that you can see if you enable the server resource pack. The custom textured items include food, paintings, tools, and just general decoration!

What is the server about? The Storytime SMP is focused mainly on role-playing, although it is not a requirement. On this server, you can make your own character lore, as well as a overarching storyline to keep everyone involved and having fun!

The server is set in the small town of Dockport on the fringe of a long uncontacted island that is plagued by intense magical storms. The Isle of Caldern contains many mysteries, ruins, and treasures for the players to discover. What are some of your basic rules?
To find a full list of rules, please join our discord. However, you can find most commonplace rules without exception here. PVP must be consented, thievery and griefing are unwelcome, we don’t allow scripted clients or X-Ray packs. As our server is tailored toward a smaller community much of what we do is based on trust, however we do have means to rollback and gather lost items if rules are broken or if corruption occurs.

In general, our server is tailored toward a mature audience and veteran players. You won’t find much in the way of newbie tutorials here. In fact we’d encourage newer players to seek else where as our server can’t really cater towards you!
