Key Features

KeyCraft offers an extensive and immersive Questing experience. All quests are hand written and developed by our Staff team to truly combine the gameplay and lore into a seamless lore-compliant experience for both you and your character. All of our Quests are a part of your characters story, so you are more than welcome to claim all of the things you do as a part of your In-Character journey!

Roleplay is a large portion of our server, and when you spawn inside New Ivyport you’ll be met with a plethora of helpful NPC’s and staff to assist you in starting. We have a proximity based chat plugin that allows you to roleplay with those around you without disrupting general chat, as well as a Race and Dice rolling plugin to truly immerse yourself in the world. Everything you do in gameplay can be considered roleplay, and your experience in KeyCraft will be quite casual, so there’s no problem with being a first-time roleplayer!

KeyCraft has a Wiki that will explain how roleplay, questing, and the lore of our server works! It will also assist you in learning about the world around you, though there is no pressure to memorize the Wiki before you begin playing! Any questions you may have can also be answered in our Community Discord which has over 300 members currently!

How does KeyCraft differ from other servers?

We’re so glad you asked! While KeyCraft is not the first of it’s kind, we do pride ourselves on how seamlessly we managed to combine all of our features into a truly one of a kind experience. Some servers like to separate their survival, questing, and roleplay aspects into different worlds and canons, but on KeyCraft everything is together! You’re on a plane on your way to see your Mother for her birthday when suddenly the plane crash lands on phoeviean island…

You’re knocked unconscious, wake up to see that all of the remaining passengers are gone and so you assume they must’ve got taken out by the tide..it’s your mission to survive, let’s see how far you go?

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN PLAYING:
Occasionally, packages will wash up on shore these packages will be on the east side of the island it’s a rare chance they may contain food so be sure to check the shore often.

The island is comprised mainly of andesite, not stone. Usable stone is rare. However if you look around the island there could be people who might be able to help you….

Most passive mobs don’t spawn as you’re on an island in the middle of an ocean.
However it’s a rare chance packages washed up on the shore might contain food.
Boats cannot be crafted.
Grass does not drop seeds

If you’re not lucky to find packages washed up on the shore you can kill a parrots in return they’ll drop meat.
Coconuts can be found on palm trees, but they are limited in supply and cannot be farmed. Placing a coconut down allows you to eat it.
Achievements and XP are given for certain discoveries.

Ore deposits custom dungeons, and other resources can be found on the island you’ll just have to look.

Things to note:

Players are encouraged to work together but just note that raiding is enabled..

Corruption V2:

The growing of the corruption ceased due to the limited energy in the area. In search of said power, the islands have floated towards a new area. The world here is much different than Machadva, with new biomes and structures for people to find. The islands seem to be linked to this place, like it lived here long long ago. The settlers of Machadva followed the islands for unknown reasons. Explore the new region of Dorlandsvis in Corruption V2.

– Fixed multiple issues with plugins.
– Moved the server to a new area.
– Brand new non-vanilla structures and biomes.
– Insanely high difficulty (Harder mobs, bosses, new bosses/loot, pretty much for the worthy in Minecraft. [~6 hits to kill a normal zombie with a sharpness 10 netherite sword.])

– Fortune on diamonds nerf (at most get 2 diamonds per block)
– Netherite dungeons to make netherite mining harder and more interesting.

– Blood moon (Makes mobs more dangerous)
– Festival night (Makes crops grow faster, axolotls and glow squids spawn on the surface.)
– Nether moon (Nether mobs invade the overworld.)

– Mark enemies with spyglasses.

tutorial on how to survive Corruption V2:
1. Don’t fight mobs. They will kill you.
2. Don’t let your ego take you over. That mob will kill you no matter what you do.
3. Don’t fight bosses with low gear, for example, the ender dragon can not be killed with stone equipment like it can in normal Minecraft.
4. Always overprepare.
5. Keep away from glowing mobs unless you 100% know what you’re doing.
6. Build a house as soon as possible. Make it strong. Blood moons can and will happen and you will not be able to sleep through the night.
7. Stick to large caves. Fortune isn’t as powerful so make sure to go for areas with multiple veins over strip mining.
8. End cities are nearly impossible without good tools. Be careful.
9. Team up, its the only way to survive.
10. Build walls, big walls around any cities or bases you have to protect yourself from blood moons.
11. Absolutely avoid any mobs possible early game. They are fast and strong and will kill you.
12. Try to get advancements, they usually come with rewards that will aid you during your survival.
13. Stay away from fortresses and large scary castles.
14. Netherite is both harder to find and comes with a surprise every time you find it. Get good gear before you go out.
15. Take a spyglass with you. They give you temporary night vision and can outline mobs for you and your teammates.
16. Stay safe and have fun.
