The Mousetrap [1.20.4]

The main theme of The Mousetrap is scarcity. At the start of the server (6/9/24) a world border of 500 x 500 blocks was set, and with every hour that passes the radius of the world border expands by 1 block. This forces players into close quarters with each other and creates scarcity in non-renewable items like diamonds and iron, and also makes open space and farmland more difficult to come by. As a result, the economy of items is much more interesting than it would be if you could easily obtain resources by walking a thousand blocks in one direction. It also encourages building tall instead of wide, so expect some skyscrapers once the server gets going. The only real rules on this server have to do with hacking or cheating, theft and killing is allowed, however our plugin system, mainly Lands, allow players to easily claim small sections of land to protect themselves, their possessions, and their builds. As your lands become more developed, you can form nations and even declare war on other lands. The server also uses Essentials Economy, with a diamond standard ($1 = 1d, you can exchange one for the other at any time). Semi-Anarchy Lifesteal SMP in Australia.

Semi-anarchy means that there are minimal rules.
Minecraft Server Rules

1) No hacking, cheating or use of game breaking exploits/dupes or intentionally lagging the server (hack, util and ghost clients)
2) No farming/killing alt accounts for hearts
3) Don’t send IRL threats or ddos threats
4) Don’t spam the chat
5) Do not kill at or grief the community enderman farm. This includes the farm itself, the bridge, and the ladder up
6) Do not trap the end spawn (obsidian platform) in any way.
7) Don’t combat log

Lifesteal is a plugin where you steal a heart from someone when you kill them.

AmethysTribes is a community-focused survival server with griefing/raiding strictly prohibited. The server is still being setup, so please be patient with us during this process.

The economy is community-driven and still evolving with every update to the server. Currently, you can earn money through jobs and trading players. Currently planned are player shops, along with other methods!

To enhance gameplay, we added hot-swapping armor, loot in structures that regenerate over time, stacking potions, and more! Some other changes help improve performance to provide a better experience for everyone.

Planned for the future are ranks for in-game currency, which will gain access to cosmetic and gameplay perks.
