Alchemy – We've just released our alchemy expansion! You can brew custom potions in the cauldron with totally unique effects and use the biproducts to craft powerful armors and tools. You can also track your progress with the new Alchemy-Dex that saves all of your discoveries.
New Tools – We've also just released two entirely new tool types! Scythes deal damage in a large sweeping arc, they can also be enchanted with both hoe and sword enchantments. Daggers, the other new tool, deal low single hit damage but have a very high swing speed and deal a lot of extra damage when attacking an enemy from behind.

Main Features:
- Towny – We use the tried and true Towny plugin for land claiming and community building! You can create a solo town and build massive farms to become rich, create a huge city with tons of members to help you achieve your goals, or join a town with a couple of friends to create a cozy homestead.
- Skills – You can level up fourteen unique skills to increase your stats (such as health, defense, and attack damage). Reaching the highest levels in each skill unlock unique abilities to make you even more powerful!
- Jobs – We offer fourteen jobs that pay you for anything from mining, to building, to fishing, and everything in between. Jobs are the most important way to build your wealth on the server.
- Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! Shops on the server set prices for goods and services without any intervention, this leads to a very organic economy where you can carve out your own niche. The only admin shops on the server can be found in our mall /warp mall. These shops sell custom furniture blocks like tables and chairs to decorate your base!
- Custom Enchantments – Our server features over 200 unique enchantments to build your playstyle the way you want! All enchants are achieved through normal gameplay mechanics.
- Craftable Gear – You can craft tons of unique custom armor sets, tools, and talismans to become more powerful or add unique abilities. We also have entirely unique tool types such as scythes and daggers with unique abilities from your average minecraft tool!
- Custom Resources – We have resource worlds which reset on the first of each month! Here you can find custom ores and plants which can be used for decoration or can be used to craft some our custom gear!
- Custom Fishing – We just released our very own custom fishing system with 170 custom fish to catch! As you catch new fish species you'll unlock them in your "fishdex" which provides information about the fish to share with others in the community who haven't yet caught that species. The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. We have a very special mod, the Origins mod! Along with the 9 base origins, we have roughly 61 custom origins, all carefully reviewed so that we can make sure each one is balanced, unique and well designed! You can even suggest custom origins, but it'll have to be high quality. We try to be fairly relaxed, as we aim to build a mature community where staff don't need to parent players. Our server is a friendly and slowly growing semi-vanilla smp with simple voice chat. Everyone is welcomed, and we make sure that everyone is respected.
Now more about the server… We have temperatures with seasons, daily crates, grief prevention, custom armors, minigames and much more.
You can join from version 1.18 to latest versions.
Java and bedrock are supported.
No mods are required but "Simple Voice Chat" is needed if you want to use proximity chat, and "cinemamod" is needed to use the cinema.

Nightshade SMP is a private 18-plus whitelist-enabled server focused on community and playing Minecraft in the way it was intended. We focus a lot on building on the server with some really nice designs to show for it! Everything on the server was created in vanilla survival Minecraft.
