The Club SMP is an 18+ vanilla Minecraft server started in early 2022 with the goal of uniting a community of friends using Minecraft as a medium. Alongside our amazing community, we also boast a fully self-hosted dedicated machine for the server, running modern blazing-fast hardware topped off with carefully tweaked server-sided optimization mods. We run a variety of server-sided optimization and QoL mods to enhance the player experience. Welcome to the Shacknews Middle School!
Shacknews Middle School is an old school SMP server formed around the Shacknews gaming community. Our gaming community has been around since the late 90s.Β Weβre looking for other like minded adults to join our server!
Our community has been running a Minecraft server since the Minecraft Alpha days in 2010.Β Our server is PvE focused mostly on building projects/bases, redstone farms and just general playing Minecraft with friends, weβre all pretty laid back here.Β We donβt do server economies or shopping districts, usually shared farms in community areas, ectβ¦Β Pretty much a vanilla server here, no P2W, server boosting, ranks or anything like that on this server.Β However this year for 1.21.x we decided to try out mods, our server had been strictly vanilla for years so we thought it would be a nice change of pace!
Our server is currently running a custom-made Fabric Modpack on Java v1.21.1. The modpack could basically be categorized as Vanilla++ with some good QoL mods and a few storage & tech mods thrown in! The world on our server was reset around the release of 1.21, so the world is semi-fresh. There is some development around spawn, but most of the world is pretty much untouched.
In the past we usually reset the world for our server on every major Minecraft release for a fresh start.Β Contingent on there being major changes that warrant a world reset.Β With Mojang recently announcing theyβre moving to smaller, more frequent updates. Weβll have to evaluate that when content drops come out and take a vote.

The quietest nation, it is the 'world spawn'. Renowned for its beauty, it holds a lot of potential for its development. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, Axondria has taken control of Aurelias' land, in a quoted "unhostile hostile take over".

There's things such as specially named items, items with particle effects, and a few unique ones that add some fun mechanics to the game. You can find Acuteloot items in naturally spawned chests, or you might get lucky while enchanting.
In addition to the usual server accouterments, we also have an active Discord community where players can chat and hang out. Our in-game chat is also linked to the main Discord channel, so even when you aren't at your computer, you can stay connected! Alysia SMP aims to be an LGBTQ+ friendly survival vanilla+ multiplayer community devoted to having fun together. We're focused on player communication and having a player-driven server. Our mods aim to improve the experience for new and veteran Minecraft players by adding things like:
