A new twist to DawnFire Realms… as we launched a whitelisted modded server world named: Austeros.
We have almost finished closed Beta and the roleplay-starting-town-buildathons. The themes and styles of our starting towns are rather unique for medieval fantasy MC worlds, see the pictures on our PMC page! For a divine perspective on Austeros, check our dynmap!
All apply for the whitelist and join open Beta, which was launched on Friday September 25th.

Austeros runs on 1.7.10 MC with Forge and require a custom selected set of mods. The world is generated (40k*40k!) and we’re in closed Beta, building and configuring some last mods and plugins. The modpack and the custom configured world are 99% complete. This is what you can expect:
– The selected mods are supposed to match with the theme and lore of Fall from Heaven II. The main mods focus on magic and ingenuity:Thaumcraft 4, Witchery and Tinkers’ Construct.
– Themed as a magical world somewhere in Ceridwen’s indefinite vault.
– Three roleplay starting towns to encourage roleplay from the very start. These are characterized by characters alignment on the ‘Organization scale’: Lawful – Organic – Chaotic. The three towns are called Vedfolnir, Ostara and Nidhogg respectively.
– A carefully selected plugin set, in-line with the plugin set we used for our vanilla servers.
– Racial traits of 11 (!) races are defined using RaC + MCMMO permissions.

-No breaking blocks inside the designated RP section of the map you can freely build elsewhere
-Basic chat rules no advertising, no spamming, no being hateful/mean, etc
-We do NOT have donation ranks, and we never ever will. Moderating commands like /kick, /mute, or /ban are reserved for staff- but normal players are free to do anything else, including but not limited to:
-Infinite RP characters
-Free building priveleges
-I might give you creative if you ask nicely
-No character limitations kittypets, loners, rogues, etc are all free
-Equal influence over the server and its future

We are a community based server. Started in May of 2011, at the dawn Minecraft’s popularity. We started as a simple server created for classmates and close friends. We wanted a place where we could build and communicate together. We started with using Bukkit to enhance our game play. Dog Donut is a server aimed at the community rather than the traditional flashy looks and huge player hubs. I, Jordy, and my friends grew tired of the huge servers that seemed to emphasize who can donate the most money or kill the most people, rather than what we feel minecraft should really be about, community and fun. Because of this, we decided we would start up our own server and try to offer a place focused on player enjoyment for those who are looking for it! While our server may currently feel empty and unimpressive, this me and my co-admins have been working tirelessly to provide a great playing environment of the start for you all to enjoy, and will continue to do so! Expect to see our player counts go up very quick, as we will work hard to provide a server that people want to join!
