Retrograde Survival was born out of CranberryJuice”s desire to make a community-based semi-vanilla survival server with unique perks like shops, currency, and ranks. The name comes from the recent Minecraft ‘renaissance’ of players who began playing Minecraft years ago, now dusting off their pickaxes and playing the game again. We want the server to be a throwback to the good ol’ days of the Minecraft community, and the amazing servers they produced. We hope you’ll enjoy playing on the server as much as we enjoyed making it! Why whitelist? I have owned and operated many servers throughout the years. This is my first whitelisted community. This community is based off trust and a foundation of dedicated communities. Welcome to ThyInfernalMonster. A Survival Server (Factions PvP, and Minigames coming soon.) ran by the InfernalBrethren Clan. We have consistently been a group since around 2012, and have developed extensive experience building, and running game servers since then.

ThyInfernalMonster, or TIM for short, is a FreeToPlay server allowing those that have not bought minecraft accounts the ability to play on a quality, and robust server with a positive gameplay experience. Normally, F2P servers would not allow personal skins to be used. However, TIM features “MenuSkins” which allows for players to use in-game currency to purchase skins for use while on the server. We hope that this addition will be valued among the players as more than just a simple novelty.

ThyInfernalBrethren features player-run shops in order to allow for the players to set the pace of the economy. We are continually making improvements to the economy systen in order to make sure that we keep a fun and balanced atmosphere for all involved.

We strive to make TIM a server that you will be proud to call home. We are always open to suggestions for any features, or changes that you feel should be added to enhance the gameplay experience on ThyInfernalMonster.

Don’t touch other people’s stuff or you wont play. Find a nice place and build, but please keep your distance if your neighbor is already building nearby. We are updating to 1.9 when plugins are patched. We have a relaxed community as far as chat and ‘adult’ humor, but being a jerk toward other members or staff will be dealt with, swiftly. The rules really are that simple.. were not going to sub define what griefing is or that you shouldnt spam chat. Youre an adult. You know better. Members have access to set homes, pvp areas, server/player shops, economy, creative world, and a resource map that will reset as needed. Premium members can fly and have access to our custom map area, Appterra by sabbas apterus, a gorgeous completely customized world map with massive hand painted biomes, ultra realistic topography, and awe inspiring natural features from craters and caverns to massive mountains and flying islands. Our players are friendly and we have a lot of fun hanging out, often on teamspeak, and sometimes a virtual game of Cards Against Humanity, or even a few rounds of bridges.
