Hey,

I think it is quite hard to find a real vanilla server, which is not using any major game changing features like land claiming and grief protection. Risk is Fun. Therefor griefing and stealing will be kept as a part of this game. This server tries to be a original minecraft version.
To accomplish this there will be only small changes as a protected spawn with a random teleport.
Unethical behaviour like major griefing, cheating, flaming and spamming is NOT allowed.
Also there will be X-Ray protection and other kinds to prevent cheating, but this will NOT affect your orginal minecraft experience.

Retrograde Survival was born out of CranberryJuice”s desire to make a community-based semi-vanilla survival server with unique perks like shops, currency, and ranks. Cranberry Juice made and still runs a classic vanilla survival server, and the idea for Retrograde Survival grew out of this original community. After achieving great success establishing an amazing group of players / friends on the vanilla server, he wanted to create a place for a larger, semi-vanilla community of players. The name comes from the recent Minecraft ‘renaissance’ of players who began playing Minecraft years ago, now dusting off their pickaxes and playing the game again. We want the server to be a throwback to the good ol’ days of the Minecraft community, and the amazing servers they produced. With helpful and respectful staff and a non-toxic community, who don’t tolerate disrespect from players who ruin the fun for others. So, what has PlasmaKraft got to offer?

Lifesteal:The first gamemode from our structuring collection; Lifesteal. Our specific version of Lifesteal is considered an anarchy server, with hardly any rules, simply, don’t hack, don’t cheat, don’t be inappropriate in any form. This gamemode is recommended for the sweaty players, who enjoy a good grind. With crates and keys for this specific gamemodes, there are different ranks and armors either from our crates and ranks or from bosses you kill, which can be used and applied to help as you fight and escape! The difference from Lifesteal and other gamemodes is that you can have any amount up to 100 hearts, as you gain them from killing other players or crafting them, but don’t get too confident, if you get killed, you will also lose hearts!

Skyblock:For the more light-hearted players who enjoy puzzle solving and living off limited resources, this economy gamemode brings the survival to you, in a small island in the sky, where you must expand and grind money to become the top islander. Earn ranks from increasing your MCMMO skills, grinding money and having the most island experience and value. Increase your score or purchase a raffle ticket to earn from our lucky pot, where you can earn things like spawners! Complete missions and find creative ways to survive and become number one!

Earth SMP:Come back down to earth, as you play in a free-roam survival world set on a 1:1 scale replica of Earth. Grind money and become baltop in the economy. Claim your land. Earn money from jobs. Buy from our in-game shop. Grind for kits, buy ranks or earn some by increasing your skill set and doing other tasks, or grind EXP from our minable and purchasable spawners, to get custom enchants to make you even stronger, and then you can fight other players (fairly as wild killing is not allowed on ESMP) or form a formidable team to tackle our tough bosses, rank up and grinding your way to the top!

Welcome to OVClubwe host a 3+ year old world that has never and will never be reset! Almost every major plugin on the server is completely custom and written by me. I take criticism and feedback to heart and try to implement community ideas where I can.

Features:

Sponge Economy – The server's currency is the sponge block. You can earn sponges from killing mobs, mining ores, voting, and participating in server wide events.
Shopping Mall – Visit the server shopping mall in which you can rent and customize a shop and sell your items to other players.
Crews – Similar to factions or teams minus the land claiming. You can create a crew and work with others to climb to the top rankings and become part of The High Table.
The High Table – Consists of the top 5 crews. High Table crews can vote for server-wide game changes including increased mob, ore, and XP drops.
Server Events – We host monthly build competitions and map art contests. Alongside that we host major events such as The Champions Tour and Red VS Blue.
No Limits – The world is currency 1203 IRL days old and counting! There is a ton of map history and old bases to explore! There is no world border and all vanilla exploits are allowed!
