    PVP is a key part of the server and combat logging is blocked by a 30 second timer upon being damaged by another player. If a player does not wish to engage in any form of PVP then players are encouraged to set up a secure town and claim all of your items and make sure town PVP is toggled off.

    ChosenCraft SMP Server Rules/Info:

    PvP is enabled in all areas besides spawn (players can decide whether PvP is on or not within their own towns)

    No hacking, Cheating, Exploiting, or any form of 3rd party support besides things like optifine, minimap, etc. These are more serious offenses which will result in permabans.

    No hate speech, Spamming, or any violent language that would be against Minecraft/Mojang TOS. Minor cursing/banter is fine as long as it doesn’t become overwhelming in chat, this is up to mods discretion.

    No advertising

    No griefing other player-made structures. Looting & Theft is okay but it must be unprotected This is to encourage more building from new players and improve the overall aesthetic & community of the server. (There are townywar plugins that will be used as a substitute for this that regenerate bases after war)

    No Lag Machines or AFK Machines. Auto Farms need to be approved by a mod and will only be approved if they aren’t an exploit and cause minimal lag, Standard mob grinders are all okay as long as they are cleared regularly.

    No BAN EVADING.

    This server has dropheads! ALL mobs in the game drop heads (less than 1% chance for most mobs & player heads have a 2% chance of dropping)

    Consequences for rule breaking:

    The repercussions for breaking the rules depend on the rule broken and the conditions under which they are broken. Hate speech or Cheating will result in an instant ban, if done again it is a permaban. Less serious chat offenses will be handled with a player being muted.

    The difference between misunderstandings and intentional malice is made very obvious in the server logs. Bad faith arguments will most likely be ignored.

    In cases where it is less obvious, a decision will be made by the moderators as a group. All rules are also subject to this method. If a moderator is waiting on feedback from the others and they have reason to be concerned about the server while offending party is online, they may temp ban the offender with the reason: “Temp-ban: pending investigation”

    Repercussions for breaking minor rules generally will follow this pattern: kick, temp ban, temp ban, permaban. Ban appeals can be submitted to the discord and will be addressed by a discord moderator.

    Rules
    1) No griefing other player’s belongings. Unclaimed towns/settlements/chunks/blocks are fair game. Destroying blocks, placing lava, water, etc. Any form of modifying someone’s belongings is prohibited. Stealing from your own land and then leaving it is also not allowed.
    2) No advertising servers and irrelevant links. Do not talk about other servers or products. Self promotion in general.
    3) No spamming, cheating and abusing bugs/glitches. If you find an exploit, report it ASAP. Prolonging a report when you’ve obviously already taken advantage of it is bannable. This includes but is not limited to duplication glitches, money glitches, any form of exploits that gives you an absurd amount of items and/or currency within a short amount of time. Any form of clients that give you an advantage over a player.
    4) Modified clients that give you an advantage over other players. Such as x-ray, blinking, reach hacks, etc. Example include but are not limited to If you can kill players easily, or find diamonds without even making an effort, it’s a no go. Minimap and waypoint modifications are allowed.
    5) Be respectful towards others. No racism, bigotry, sexism, or slandering of others. Treat others the way you expect to be treated. Even the slightest toxicity in mannerisms or in a sense perceived as rude- gradually building, CAN get you banned. Watch your tone, realize this is just a game, and play nice.
    6) No massive farms that can potentially lag the server. Having a large amount of anything that lowers TPS (Mobs, items, etc.)
    7) Do not ask for staff positions on the server. **We will decide when to ask the player base for staff applications when necessary.**8) No deliberately TP trapping players, or unfair PVP tactics in general. This includes but is not limited to: player warps, land spawns, and combat logging.

Well, you went to the right place, JengaCraft is a Vanilla Community Minecraft Server where we love to explore the limits of survival Minecraft through big and intricate builds and complex redstone projects, all balanced out with a healthy dose of pranks and shenanigans amongst friends.     Hi, I’ll keep it short and sweet

    I’m going to be making a whitelisted, private SMP server. It’ll be a community-based server, all changes discussed with everyone first. It’ll be somewhere you can come home from work and relax, unwind and forget about the stresses of real life.

    Think of Mindcrack and Hermitcraft, but with less pressure.

    Things that may be tweaked to make the experience slightly more seamless and time-consuming;
    – Farming & Tree tweaks, i.e. instant tree cutting and crop replant instantly
    – Slightly more ores in order to make things that bit easier
    – Minimap/map in order to teleport to coordinates and visit other players quickly
    & more to be discussed as a community

    I’ve owned many Minecraft servers in the past (public ones), therefore know how to ensure a smooth experience, 99.99% uptime, and handle anything going wrong.

    I’ll ensure that things are done as a team, such as conquering the End. I’ll also ensure we have no possibility of anyone being silly and stealing or griefing others. Again, this will be community-based, therefore unlike public servers, no ‘land claims’ or ‘chest locks’ will be required.

Our current map is 14k by 14k, and will continue expanding to make new vanilla content accessible as it is released and accommodate more players as the server grows. Our vision is to have a server that is as vanilla as possible, while also addressing various QoL issues that come along with a large playerbase on an unwhitelisted server. As such, we have implemented a handful of plugins including renewable elytra (via the ender dragon fight), a simple chest shop system using currency that is interconvertible with diamonds, and night skip with just one player sleeping.

    We have an outstanding community of builders! From skyscrapers and cozy villages to high-efficiency iron and raid farms, we have it all.     We have no land claims plugin, but rest assured your builds and items are safe. We use CoreProtect, a plugin which keeps detailed logs of blocks, items, entities, and more. It allows for custom, precision rollbacks of specific players, time ranges, locations, and more. This allows for convenient grief reversal in real time. The CoreProtect inspect command is enabled for all players which allows you to check the logs of containers and blocks; you can see if alterations have been made by someone who does or does not have your permission without needing staff assistance.

    Community First: Our primary goal is to foster a fun, cooperative, supportive community on our server. Profit from the server is not a short or long-term goal. We want to scale and develop our community, but at a pace that is reasonable and sustainable.

    Long-Term Map: We plan to never reset the map. We want builds, farms, and communities made on the server to be permanent, and this is why we have opted for an expanding map to incorporate content from new releases.

    Golden Rule: Respect. Other. Players. You can see a more precise list of rules on our spawn board or Discord server, but in general all rules follow from the simple principles of respecting others and using common sense.

    Work Hard, Play Hard: The server is on hard difficulty. There is no keepinventory, no /tp, no /back, no warps other than /spawn and /home, and staff will not use tools to roll back legitimate deaths or mistakes that do not violate the rules. We hope in our community you will become a pro gamer, and this means learning to navigate all the difficulties of the Minecraft world, even if they are sometimes frustrating or inconvenient. We aim to preserve the minimalism and realism of Minecraft, as we believe these features are essential for maximizing players' sense of immersion in our world and community.     Skills – You can level up fourteen unique skills to increase your stats (such as health, defense, and attack damage). Reaching the highest levels in each skill unlock unique abilities to make you even more powerful!

    Jobs – We offer thirteen jobs that pay you for anything from mining, to building, to fishing, and everything in between. Jobs are the most important way to build your wealth on the server.

    Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! Shops on the server set prices for goods and services without any intervention, this leads to a very organic economy where you can carve out your own niche. The only admin shops on the server can be found in our mall /warp mall. These shops sell custom furniture blocks like tables and chairs to decorate your base!

    Custom Enchantments – Our server features over 200 unique enchantments to build your playstyle the way you want! All enchants are achieved through normal gameplay mechanics.

    Craftable Gear – You can craft tons of unique custom armor sets, tools, and talismans to become more powerful or add unique abilities.

    Custom Resources – We have resource worlds which reset on the first of each month! Here you can find custom ores and plants which can be used for decoration or can be used to craft some our custom gear!

    Custom Fishing – We just released our very own custom fishing system with 170 custom fish to catch! As you catch new fish species you'll unlock them in your "fishdex" which provides information about the fish to share with others in the community who haven't yet caught that species.
