Greetings from Yorimskar! I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to be given a chance to join the Kingdom of Yorimskar! In our Kingdom citizens will on arrival be given a tour and set up with their chosen gathering job, these jobs include:
-Miner
-Fisherman
-Crop Farmer
-Livestock Farmer
-Tree Farmer
Gathering jobs allow players to only gather materials that relate to their selected job. For an example a Tree Farmer would not go mine for iron when it is needed, instead they purchase that iron or required material from a player that has selected Miner. This stimulates a working economy with demand and competition within our Minecraft world! Its a great way to make a good amount of money!
Money can be spent on a wide variety of things in Yorimskar, if its more materials to build with or food so you don’t starve to death! But it doesn’t stop there! Our players come up with all kinds of cool things to sell or even some services! Have a house or Redstone machine built for you, or buy god armor and weapons to use in the Arena!
Citizens can also purchase new and bigger Plots from the City. These plots can either be Housing, Business, or Club plots, each plot having different functions and laws of what you can do there. For example, everyone starts with a Starter Plot which can tend to be small, so some players decide to purchase more space. In another case anyone who selects a type of farmer will not only get a housing plot but also a farming plot where they are allowed to grow crops, trees and breed livestock which can take up a lot of space so expansion is necessary!

Hi, I’ll keep it short and sweet
I’m going to be making a whitelisted, private SMP server. It’ll be a community-based server, all changes discussed with everyone first. It’ll be somewhere you can come home from work and relax, unwind and forget about the stresses of real life.
Think of Mindcrack and Hermitcraft, but with less pressure.
Things that may be tweaked to make the experience slightly more seamless and time-consuming;
– Farming & Tree tweaks, i.e. instant tree cutting and crop replant instantly
– Slightly more ores in order to make things that bit easier
– Minimap/map in order to teleport to coordinates and visit other players quickly
& more to be discussed as a community
I’ve owned many Minecraft servers in the past (public ones), therefore know how to ensure a smooth experience, 99.99% uptime, and handle anything going wrong.
I’ll ensure that things are done as a team, such as conquering the End. I’ll also ensure we have no possibility of anyone being silly and stealing or griefing others. Again, this will be community-based, therefore unlike public servers, no ‘land claims’ or ‘chest locks’ will be required.

Information about Astra🏠 We have formatted our server in a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.
There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.
🌍 We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).
Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations – seeing what our community has put together.
👥 Despite the fact that we’re a relatively large community, we all get along, and that’s something rare that I haven’t seen on many other servers.
No, you don’t need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that’s not something you should worry about.
We also have an active staff team — handpicked players that I find suitable to be staff.
There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.
Please don’t live millions of blocks away as the premise of this server is to interact with one another.

New Year, New Season!
In the new year of 2022 New Horizons is embarking on a new journey starting completely fresh with a brand new world! If you want to be part of this exciting new start from the moment it launches, now is your chance. Season 2 of New Horizons opens in 1.18 on the 7th of January 2022!
New Concept:
The New Horizons Server has always and will always be an SMP Server. We use Plugins to help enhance the player experience, however, nothing game-breaking ultimately making us a Semi-Vanilla server.
For the second season of our server we are adapting a completely new concept onto the SMP server.
The Overworld – There is a border surrounding the spawn point that has been set out on the server. We are currently building a main road together, that will lead west, towards the expansion. What’s the expansion? Well, the expansion is the direction in which the border will gradually expand west. The border will reveal more land to explore constantly!
The Nether – Will not be the main way of travel. There will be a few community portals, but the main way to get around will be the Overworld. Of course we do allow and encourage players to build in the Nether as well!
