What is World of Nations?

World Of Nations (WON) is an SMP nations server where you can create a nation or join an existing one. This server does not use any faction plugins like every other factions server, instead it is a whitelisted trust-based server, which allows you to do more things with less limits and have more fun. You can make a government, sign treaties, make alliances, start wars, and all that fun stuff. World Of Nations also has amazing custom biomes that make the world much more interesting. The server is 5000 x 5000 blocks, which makes it small enough so all the nations aren’t so spread out, but also big enough so it’s still playable as a world.

Aussie Hermitcrabs is a Hermitcraft-style semi-vanilla SMP based in Australia. We’ve in our third season and always on the look out for a few more good peeps to join the community. We’re tight knit and social, with no ranks or unlocks, just genuine connections between players. Our playstyle is based on Hermitcraft, so if you’re familiar with the series you know what you’re in for!

Our season 3 has a communal village inside a ring of mountains, some shops (and a diamond based economy) but also lots of bartering and goodwill. We’re after experience players looking for a fresh start or total Minecraft newbies looking to learn within a chilled community. 🌐 ｢ Our Server in a Nutshell ｣ 🌐

We are a new server – our community and buildings are all since mid February of 2024. Our current map is 12k by 12k, with plans to periodically expand and make new vanilla content accessible as it is released. Our vision is to have a server that is as vanilla as possible, while also addressing issues such as the limited map size, looters, and the difficulty of getting 10+ players to sleep at the same time. As such, we have implemented a handful of plugins including renewable elytra (via the ender dragon fight), a simple chest shop system using a currency that is interconvertible with diamonds, and night skip with just one player sleeping. Phantoms are also disabled unless requested for membranes.

We have an outstanding community of builders! This is true both of aesthetically pleasing buildings and cohesive community spaces as well as of efficient and high-throughput farms. Check out Sharing > Builds and Sharing > Farms on our Discord, as well as our photo galleries linked below! If you are more of a aesthetic builder or more of an efficient farm maker, don't worry. There are plenty of players who are happy to help fill in the gaps for you!

We have no land claims plugin, but rest assured your builds and items are safe! We use CoreProtect, a plugin which keeps detailed logs of blocks, items, entities, and more. It allows for custom, precision rollbacks of specific players, time ranges, locations, and more for convenient grief reversal – all in real-time while the server is running. A command from this plugin is enabled which allows all players to check the logs of containers and spaces so you can see if alterations have been made by someone who does or does not have your permission.

🧭 ｢ Our Principles ｣ 🧭

Community First: Our primary goal is to foster a fun, cooperative, supportive community on our server. Profit from the server is not a short or long-term goal. We want to scale and develop our community, but at a pace that is reasonable and sustainable.

Long-Term Map: We plan to never reset the map. We want builds, farms, and communities made on the server to be permanent, and this is why we have opted for an expanding map to incorporate content from new releases.

Golden Rule: Respect. Other. Players. You can see a more precise list of rules on our spawn board or Discord server, but in general all rules follow from the simple principles of respecting others and using common sense.

Work Hard, Play Hard: The server is on hard difficulty. There is no keepinventory, no /tp, no warps other than /spawn and /home, and staff will not use tools to roll back legitimate deaths or mistakes that do not violate the rules. We hope in our community you will become a pro gamer – not a pro beggar or pro hoarder. We aim to preserve the minimalism and realism of Minecraft, as we believe these features are essential for maximizing players' sense of immersion in our world and community.

No P2W: We do not and will not even remotely resemble a Pay to Win server. We do accept donations. There are currently no perks for donors, but if any future perks are added they will be purely cosmetic (e.g. colored names or tags in game or on Discord).

OUR FOUNDING PHILOSOPHIES

This part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars that hold our server up and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future.

The Vanilla Experience

Dominion is committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any any plugins, datapacks, or otherwise which fundamentally make the game easier, harder, or different than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO, Jobs, NPC's and similar on our server.

In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond a shiny yellow name.

Transparency

We believe that it is each player's right to know exactly how much money is raised though donations and how it is spent. In the spirit of this transparency, we release monthly updates on all expenses and donations.

We are also completely open about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. During these times, we allow for open discussion and provide insight into any decision making.

Community Voice

We pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome comments, critique, and honest opinions. Through that openness, we are able to continuously improve our server and community because of your feedback.

For all major changes or addition to our server, be it a new plugin, settings changes etc., we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating.

Playing Together

We founded Dominion on this major principle: Create a space for players to play together, not just be strangers in the same world. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events ranging from one off quick PVP maps to massive large scale build-athons.

For those who prefer more long-term collaboration, we have a dedicated space in our Discord for larger player ran projects such as modern city districts, gaming districts, special mega-farms, and more.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die."- H.P. Lovecraft..And so may great Minecraft servers, it seems. What seems like forever ago, Lovecraft, a vanilla Minecraft community still early in its existence, disappeared into the void together with its owner. We, a dedicated group of players and friends that played on it, have no clue where it went, but it left us without a home. We decided to not let that setback get to us and to continue its legacy in the form of a new server, where we could continue to express our creativity and unleash our wildest ideas. We decided it was time for PlanB!

Our humble network of servers boasts game modes and features requested from within the community. Including not only Survival and Creative servers but the occasional Modpack, vanilla Skyblock, games nights on public servers and more.

By carefully maintaining our own dedicated hardware exclusive to PlanB, we do not rely on the poorly maintained or oversold shared servers typically used in small communities. Alongside carefully handpicked or custom-written plugins, healthy RAM and CPU allocation, regular backups, and restarts help to ensure we provide the smoothest gameplay we can.

· No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or verbal abuse
· Be polite and treat others as you'd want to be treated
· Ask before building near someone
· House etiquette: do NOT look through other's chests without asking, please leave if asked to do so
· Keep the environment tidy, no half chopped trees

What is SpudCraft?

SpudCraft is a community brought together to share our love for Minecraft, we have developed a small, but close-knit, group that we wish to expand and grow into a safe trusting community.

What do we have to offer?

– A trust-based diamond economy system similar to HermitCraft
– An easy way to get back to spawn using the /spawn command
– Simple voice chat mod just like they use in HermitCraft!
– Purely vanilla, excluding essential datapacks such as; anti-enderman griefing, multiplayer sleep, solidifying concrete dust in a cauldron, double shulker shells, player and mob head drops, mini head wandering traders, and an AFK display (visible by pressing Tab).
– 15-year-old age requirement for maturity reasons (some exceptions may be applied)
– Kind, mature, and interactive community both in-game and in voice chats
– Collaborative build projects, fun events, and game nights
