The Apocalypse is a Slimefun and Factions based server with a few odd plugins to make it more interesting. These plugins almost make the server seem modded, theres extra gear new mobs and all sorts of cool twists. We have a friendly community with friendly staff. We try our best to keep all of our plugins updated at all times, when someone post a thread on the forums or anywhere on the site we reply as soon as we are able to. Our player base is currently small but it’s slowly growing.

Our server is practically vanilla 1.8.3, but it has a minor addition to it in the form of special quiz booths that spit out trivia questions, which you can answer for mats/blocks. Hello and Welcome to The ShireCraft thread!

We want to give you an idea of what to expect by picking us as your server to play on, but we do not want to enlighten you with nearly all of the information!

To begin, we are a semi-creative freebuilding server. What this means is, you start in survival, and earn creative upon reaching the specified rank. Freebuilding means, we don’t have those god awful plotme worlds. We love the environment, and believe buildings look better in a natural environment, not shoved in a 40×40 plot, on flat land, right next to a building that doesn’t compliment yours.

To give you a bit more, if you achieve the rank to build in the world freely, if you prove your build is good, and is well-developed, you can get your own /warp and that becomes your OWN region!

We also, want to emphasize that we are a very closely-knit community. We are smaller, and thus, we are a lot more like family than members. We have a grand time talking among one another whilst building until our hearts content.

Lore Background:
A Tyrant King has led The Place for many years, bringing great prosperity to his family and the wealthy, high classes. This prosperity was paved on the backs of the working class who struggle day-in and day-out working to help the kingdom. The King continued his abuses and treating the lower classes poorly and destroying families and killing the peasantry. Then, one day, a member of the peasantry stood up and took a stand against the King. In a fierce uprising and battle, the rebel fought to his last breath, perishing at the hand of the King. This was the final straw. Many members of the working class joined the rebellion of the fallen warrior. Forced in to hiding, these rebels were continually hunted and murdered if found. This is how they earned the nickname, the Shadow Legion. Striking quickly and powerfully, the Shadow Legion threw the King off balance, forcing him to gather his strongest troops within the Royal Guard to fight off the remaining members of the Shadow Legion and restore order.
