Who are we?
Terrashift is a whitelisted vanilla 1.17.1 (soon 1.18) server, with a focus on collaboration, and building a community.
If you are interested in starting fresh and would like play/build on a server similar to Hermitcraft with a focus on building a community feel free to apply with the form listed at the end of the post. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Details:
We are currently on season II with a new map starting with 1.17 release. If you feel like building and collaborating on giant redstone contraptions or just want to build a cozy hut somewhere and relax we got you covered. We are very builder-friendly and while it’s still a fresh new world there are great community cities and massive public farms in the works.
Server rules are rather simple. The main guideline is: be nice and have fun! Rules are as follows:
– no griefing
– no stealing
– no pvp without consent
– no rudeness towards other members
– no “hacking” such as x-ray/fly etc.
The main goal of the server is to be a place where everyone can feel welcome and have fun together.
We currently have 26 active members and are looking for people who share the same goals.
All server changes/additions/removals are voted on by all members to make sure everyone has a say on the server direction as it develops in Discord.
Currently while we try to keep gameplay as vanilla as possible server is running several datapacks:
– home teleports
– player head drops
– more mob heads
– afk display
– armor statues
– coordinates hud
– item averages
All of the changes related to datapacks are decided by voting so the list can change over time.
With the new 1.17 world we are also making initial bases in a community city near spawn. The chosen seed has a giant mushroom continent at spawn which will be used to build themed community cities where everyone is welcome to contribute/build.

We have an active and strong Discord community where we all come together to talk, share art, play games and hang out. While this is what makes our Discord thrive, it is not required for you to get actively involved in all the discussion going on.
Joining the Discord is however a necessity, as it is required to play on the server, and since it is the only way to report bugs, bad player behaviour and provide feedback/suggestions in #mc-tickets.

When you join our Minecraft server, you will be prompted with a four digit code. Send these four numbers to @Block Nook in a DM. The bot will take care of the rest and grant you instant access.
Are you getting the error message “You are currently not able to join, please contact an administrator.” after finishing the verification process? Contact a @Minecraft Staff member on Discord. You need one of two special roles to get full permanent access to our server, and someone from the administration team will take care of this for you.
Our verification on our Discord server is manual, meaning it can take a little while before you get access to the server.
We allow the use of /sethome, /spawn and /warp if one has ever been set. You will never be forced to use these commands and can continue playing the game exactly how you want to!
Commands like /tpa and /tpahere are not available on our server as we believe natural transportation in some cases make the experience more unique.
All available commands can be found by typing /help in-game.
Three major plugins we provide are Better Sleeping, Block Locking and Land Claims. Better Sleeping makes it so that sleeping only has to be done by a small percentage of players to skip the night, and Block Locking allows you to protect your own important blocks such as furnaces, crafting tables and chests from being used/looted. Land Claims allows you to claim your own land and prevent it from getting griefed. Upon spawning, you will get a book teaching you how to use the plugin. A Golden Shovel is used for all land claiming purposes. Unlike most servers, placing a chest doesn’t provide an instant claim!
On top of that, we run two datapacks from the Vanilla Tweaks pack. One of them that allows you to pose any Armor Stand in any way you wish, and one that lets you harden concrete powder by simply throwing it into a water-filled cauldron.

I know PlanetMinecraft says the port is some random number but you don’t need to use that port to connect. Just do smp.skedgy.xyz and it should work fine.
What do I need to join?
We accept all Twitch streamers, no matter how big or small, as long as you agree to stream as much as you can while online on the SMP. We accept other streaming platforms too, but we don’t recommend streaming anywhere other than Twitch.
You do not need to be affiliated with Twitch, though if you are, we can arrange to allow your subscribers on the server as well.
If you have friends you want to join the server who don’t stream, that can be discussed as well.
It’s also required that you join our discord at http://dis.skedgy.xyz/ so we can make sure you’re legit.
What if I don’t stream?
If you aren’t a streamer then this server may not be for you. While we do allow Twitch subscribers to join, we don’t recommend subscribing to join an smp with streamers you’ve never interacted with before. If you’re set on joining though then go ahead.
Can I join on Bedrock?
Yes! The server supports both the Java and Bedrock editions of Minecraft! To connect on Bedrock edition, just connect to the same ip address with the port 64516.
