I host a new server that is normally follower only, and for my twitch channel. My community and I have recently came to the conclusion that opening it up for everyone! (whitelist) is the best way to go to build a more “hermitcraft” like community.

We invite any and all to the server! It is running the Better Minecraft 1.18.2 pack V11.5.

It is a PVE mainly server, with PVP enabled for people who want to. Towns, districts, and shops will all be set up as well! There is currently only a small spawn hub, with a few players homes spread here and there.

The server is 24/7 running, VERY low lag and latency, and supports 100+ players. to be whitelisting follow the steps below and make note of the server info 🙂

This is a modded origins smp server with mainly one big rule: demonstrate a sense of maturity and dont interfere with people’s builds or you will get banned. We have plenty of origins and I will add an origin (depending on what it is) for 1.5 days of playtime on the server (as seen in statistics). This started out as a private test server for myself and a few friends and I reserve the right to kick anyone who is causing problems. DabCraft is a Minecraft server based around version 1.16.5. That being said, you are not restricted to joining using only that version. Anyone from any version of Minecraft can join. Its a hub server featuring the likes of SMP, Lifesteal, Skyblock and Parkour. The server is not yet 100% complete and lots more will be coming soon. Enjoy!

So why did we choose to use 1.16.5? When version 1.17 was released, Minecraft’s chunk size increased on z-axis. As a result, worlds are now harder for our PC to locate. People with old computers, or people who can’t afford more RAM and a graphics card, can’t play Minecraft anymore because they will suffer from severe lag leaving them to either play on 1.16.5 or stop playing entirely. Even if they choose to play on 1.16.5, there are not many good SMP servers they can play on with their friends. This is why we decided to create a brand new Minecraft SMP server using the world generation from 1.16.5, but that can be joined by any version of Minecraft.
