This server is a logical sequence of our earlier servers. You can find very old and new buildings, temples, castles, hotels, the best houses, parks, the Reichstag, the Great Christmas tree and the unique structures of the advanced players. If you want to build, you need to move away from the spawn round 600 cubes or leave the spawn using command blocks. There are administrators, moderators, builders, sheriffs and elves. Here at The legion, we seek to provide an enjoyable, friendly and unique Minecraft experience. Staff are hired and maintained for the sole purpose of improving your experience, both in game and on the forums they approach their roles with utmost seriousness and dedication.

Our current line-up of features include:

Factions – forms the foundation for much of what takes place on our server by allowing players to cooperate easily and efficiently. Members form teams with a unique name and description, claim land for their cause and fight other opposing congregations for territoriality, resources and their barbaric lust for blood

mcMMO – Implements a an interesting and imaginative progression system for a deeper, more rewarding game-play experience. Such examples include the Archery Taming and acrobatics skills in addition to a variety of unique abilities.

Citizens – As personal staff favourite, citizens introduces NPCs (non playable characters) to Minecraft with a large variety of shapes, sizes and roles. These include sentries, who keeps a keen watch over for monsters other devious creatures who might seek to lay waste to the realm and traders, who sell and buy goods to anyone they can make a quick profit off of.

– Racism, sexism, or discussion of religious/political views is not tolerated.
– Abusing bugs to raid or gain an unfair advantage is not allowed.
– Hacking or cheating in any way is not allowed.
– Mass messaging with the /msg, /tell, or /whisper command is forbidden.
– Repeated, unprovoked spawn killing is not allowed.
– Do not blame or accuse anyone of anything in game. Report via the forums.

[FACTIONS]-[MOD DISGUISE]

On this server, factions have major prominence. The factions on the server will battle it out, until only one is left, or it’s power is absolute. Once a faction takes over, or destroys another faction, the players within the captured faction can either join another faction in the server, or be absorbed into the conquering faction. Planned and scheduled battles will take place, and the winning faction, or factions (if there are teams) will win the reward of the day, or the losing faction will have to forfeit resources or members, if that’s called for. Occasionally, you can even win extra power!

You can petition to create a faction by asking an Administrator, or a Moderator. You must have experience and you must be well known of the server, along with basic grammar skills.

We have several plugins and tools to help you along your way, and if any glitches destroy your base, or items, we will re-compensate it! For any questions, contact: [email protected]

The Nasty SMP is a 1.21 mostly vanilla survival server focused on having fun together as a chill & nice community. Welcome to Artemisa private application based SMP server with an emphasis on performance and 100% vanilla parity.

Everything you see in the server was built from the ground up to achieve these goals. ALL of the plugins, paper fork, discord features, website, server, and various other internal tooling was made just for this. Custom from top to bottom.

After a long hiatus and successful season 3, we've decided to continue doing this for the long term with the introduction of season 4. Below you will find some key information about our server, quality of life changes, and what has been done to keep it as close to vanilla as possible.

Season information and quality of life changes:

Chaos a custom Paper fork with a few optimizations.
Server IP artemis.rip
Latest, 1.21.1 Java. Bedrock is currently unsupported.
Online server map
Full server backups + full rollback support of any user action/grief.
The End is locked for the dedicated Ender Dragon event where it opens @ 12:00pm Saturday, September 27th
COMPLETELY vanilla tracking/activation ranges (128 blocks / 10 chunk simulation distance)
Full anti-cheat + anti-xray.
Almost every vanilla exploit is re-enabled and re-implemented including: sand/gravity duping, tnt duping, bedrock break, piston changes and more.
Enderman visually pick up blocks but do not physically pick them up.
There is no store, paid ranks, or p2w mechanics labeled as "perks".
The render distance is 20+ chunks, far more than most other servers. Making it very easy to see far out.
Mobs don't despawn going through Nether portals, improving portal farm compatibility.
World seed is available 24 hours after launch.
Shulkers have a 1/4 or 25% chance of dropping an ADDITIONAL shulker shell when killed by a player, this does not affect the looting enchantment. This change is to allow more people to get shulker boxes globally.
With /filter you can enable/disable ANY block/item from being picked up. Example, add unwanted blocks like andesite, cobble, and you will never fill up your inventory with junk.
When the server is restarted, players will be automatically reconnected to the SMP allowing for AFK.

Rules:

Don't be racist/homophobic and so on
Any use of cheats / exploits out of vanilla is an instant ban.
Intentionally creating machines to exploit server behavior (lag, plugins, etc).
Griefing player builds and stealing is a no!
Villager breeders must abide by entity cramming rules. If you have an excessive amount of villagers and do not cull them they will be killed to the cram limit of 64
Nether portal chunk loaders are allowed, if they work.
Alts are allowed for AFK, but are not allowed for replacing functions like auto mining, building, etc.
All popular modded clients are allowed (Lunar Client, Badlion, Laby, etc). If you can't use a certain mod on it is because we have purposely disabled it. (Currently 0)
Litematica/Schematica is allowed, printing is disabled by the anticheat.
Minimap/bounding box locators are also allowed.

Our custom Paper fork has reverted many of the technical changes from Paper to make it more like vanilla, pretty much every build should work even though the server runs on Paper. For the players not looking for the combat, there is much to discover in the Sildaris Wilds, such as spyglass astronomy, paintings to share with other players, and an expansive food system with Farmer's Delight + addons, and with Let's Do Vinery/Meadow for wine and cheese.

The economy is coin based, where resources are sold to spawn for coins which can then be traded with at player-operated vendors. We also have a catalogue of event types to take place, with everything from FFA brawls, to pistol duels or airship racing!
