Once upon a time, there was a grand Minecraft server called “The Kingdom”. It was ruled by a wise and just king who built a grand castle where he held court.

Players from all over the virtual world came to “The Kingdom” to build homes and businesses. There were markets, blacksmith shops, inns, and even a grand cathedral.

However, not all was peaceful in “The Kingdom”. There were raiders who would sneak in at night and steal resources, and there were rumors of a secret group plotting to overthrow the king.

The king knew he had to act. He gathered the bravest players in his kingdom and sent them on a quest to defeat the raiders and uncover the traitors.

After many trials and battles, the brave players succeeded. They returned to the king with the captured raiders and the evidence of the traitors’ plans. Justice was served.

“The Kingdom” remained prosperous and peaceful, and the king thanked the brave players for their service. Together, they continued to build and thrive in their beloved virtual world.

Greetings, traveler!

Today, we present to you your next adventure into Minecraft roleplay. Developed and founded by avid roleplayers such as yourself, we are happy to introduce the Isles Of Uros! A fresh new world, brimming with untold adventures and conquests, is almost ready for your arrival! Currently, we are still in development but are on our way to The Alpha release! Below is a snip-it of the overarching lore of the isles.

PROLOGUE

In Umbria, many cannot dream of a world beyond our coasts. To be frank, not many have seen the coasts in the first place. And yet, there has been talk, amongst the common folk, of land beyond the horizon; the infamous isles of Uros. Like a siren in the belly of the sea, Uros calls for those starved of the Umbria’s treasures to start a new life in its domain. However, no one has ever found concrete proof that sirens ride the waves, nor that these so-called isles of promise exist. What can be certain is that many great names were lost in its pursuit. Those who haven’t still claim to have found the isles, but turn tail the moment evidence was inquired for. To make matters worse, archeologists, who had discovered clues on ancient relics, were driven mad with contradictions and hiccups in their work. Dashed of hope of ever unburying the truth of these mystical islands, the great stories of hope and adventure, dwindled to whispers of the past.

I do wonder if there was something people overlooked; the underlying mystery of why Uros was so difficult to find. Perhaps ignorance played a role, as anyone who did get close was brushed off as jesters, and, if not that, fools. However, like a stubborn child, Uros would not give up its game of hide-and-seek for years; was it really just a matter of disbelief? Nevertheless, the secrets of the sea remained just that; secrets.
That is, until now.

With six children in tow, Catherine raced to the airport departing gate. This wasn’t an easy task as the children had other priorities than to get to the gate. She knew that she was tight on time and the frustration came out as she yelled at the kids to keep up. They continued to test her, pretending not to listen and to move in directions that only slowed them down. They had no idea the wrath they were about to receive when Catherine made it to the gate only to be informed that they had all missed the plane.

Nobody really understood Kevin. It wasn’t that he was super strange or difficult. It was more that there wasn’t enough there that anyone wanted to take the time to understand him. This was a shame as Kevin had many of the answers to the important questions most people who knew him had. It was even more of a shame that they’d refuse to listen even if Kevin offered to give them the answers. So, Kevin remained silent, misunderstood, and kept those important answers to life to himself.

Finding the truth wouldn’t be easy, that’s for sure. Then there was the question of whether or not Jane really wanted to know the truth. That’s the thing that bothered her most. It wasn’t the difficulty of actually finding out what happened that was the obstacle, but having to live with that information once it was found.

It had become a far too common an event in her life. She has specifically placed the key to the box in a special place so that she wouldn’t lose it and know exactly where it was when the key was needed. Now that she needed to open the box, she had absolutely no idea where that special spot she placed the key might be.

Set hundreds of years after the shattering of the world, those who survived have latched to the floating remains of what once was, and nature adapted to its new rules. Time has allowed many civilizations to rise and fall from the clouds beneath, but one corner of the skies has been left untamed by conquerors: the Galetorn Expanse. With the discovery of rich magical resources, many adventurers and fortune-seekers have found their place in the Expanse, and perhaps will find the reason why it has remained without claim for so long…

Windward is a high magic server with technology, fashion and culture influenced by the early twentieth century. Its primary focus is roleplaying, exploration, and Player versus Environment. The server is roleplay enforced, meaning roleplay is expected of you while on the server.

Features

Little to no applications philosophy, the only application currently is the whitelist. Magic schools are given at the start and cool options for characters are earned through player action. Powerful spells found in dangerous delves could be sold for a fortune to others.

Custom combat with stamina for attacks and mana for magic. Hunger is disabled to avoid hassle and instead gives food the role of healing items.

Seasons that change with time also change the look of the world, with staff ran events that reflect the passing of time.

Three narrative-driven factions for those that want a consistent storyline along with a main player-ran town that needs help with its own trials and tribulations. Will you serve the ambitions of foreign powers or the town and her people?

Character creation and gear allow you to make your playstyle unique and encourages experimentation.
