Each block is worth a different amount of EXP towards the next level, as the levels go up, your mining haste, EXP gain, and increased chance for multi-drop from ores goes up too. If a block type is not on the list, it is not blocked by levels.
Level 2 – Copper / Andesite / Granite / Diorite / Dripstone / Mossy Cobblestone / Sculk
Level 3 – Terracotta
Level 4 – Iron
Level 5 – Amethyst / Redstone
Level 7 – Gold / Lapis
Level 9 – Budding Amethyst ( Mineable with a silk touch pickaxe)
Level 10 – Diamonds / Emeralds
Level 12 – Netherrack
Level 13 – Obisidian
Level 14 – Crying Obsidian (stupid amount of EXP)
Level 15 – Basalt
Level 18 – Nether Bricks / Nether Quartz / Glowstone
Level 20 – Blackstone
Level 21 – Ancient Debris
Level 26 – End Stone
Level 27 – Purpur Blocks
