You might be asking yourself this question. With thousands of minecraft servers with various mods, plugins, and features; What makes FunkyServers worth playing on? At FunkyServers our mission statement is to be like everyone else, only more so. If other servers have donation ranks with features, our donation ranks will have more features. If another server has a Factions server, we will have a Factions server with more abilities and more stability than the rest. At FunkyServers we strive for player satisfaction, and stability.

Every server has carrots and sticks; paid features and rules. We don’t like rules and we don’t like only the rich being able to have all the fun. At FunkyServers every player will have some features that every other server would only classify as “Donor” or “Premium” features. Every player should feel welcome without the pressure of donating. We will have donor ranks that offer more perks than the default, without comprimising player satisfaction. You can see on every server out there when you login you have the chat welcoming you with a message, an animated title screen flashing in your face, a menu on the right side of your screen that doesn’t go away, and maybe a boss bar at the top advertising the website where they only want your money. How do you learn anything about a server when you’re being smothered with in game advertisements for a server you don’t even know you like? How do you play the game when MR MAGORIUMS WONDER CRAFT is flashing on your screen when you’re shooting a bow, or hunting down the last remaining enemy faction member? The community on NZnetwork’s minecraft servers is one which has been known to spend hours on a Friday night building together or just getting upto general mischief by building the most random structures you could imagine.

We aim to provide near 100% uptime, because an offline server just plain old sucks.

To limit the risk of griefing and trouble makers, we run rollback and logging software and only allow players who have built a creation to access creative mode freely on our creative servers. This system has proven itself very stable as people who have wanted to destroy others builds don’t hang around and any that do slip through can do limited damage in survival mode. We can always roll back any damage they do anyway!

We are one of the oldest running Minecraft servers in New Zealand and have been online since 2010.

Sigh…Another community, another server, another description to read. Or is it?

Yes obviously this is another description to read, but hopefully nothing like the others out there. Hi, my name is x0Z3ro0x, and I don’t care about the normal way of things. For over 10 years our community has stood as sacred ground for our family and friends to come and enjoy the gifts of gaming without the negative side effects that the Internet communities bring. You see, whether you come from a background of wealth, poverty, or somewhere in between, you deserve two things.

1.) To be treated with respect and not like another player in a long list.

2.) To enjoy the game you came to play without interruptions, ads, marketing, bullying, power abuse, or the laundry list of things that most private servers come with.

Maybe we are just getting old and cranky, but gaming used to be about the entertainment. The love and laughter you shared with friends and family as you succeeded or failed together.
