About us:
Smokestax SMP was created with the intention of providing players a place to enjoy the game with a fun community and lax rules. The server was created on the very day of this post, and I am excited to see some faces in the server.
There was a very strong community in a previous SMP I played in. So much so, that I have decided to make Smokestax SMP to try and emulate that feeling for my fellow players. You can apply for the whitelist using the Discord link above, and join our community.

I just started this server up a couple of months ago. I always played on a server called SimplyCrafted growing up on Minecraft. It was a Towny plugin based server that was somewhat popular back around 2012-2015 or so. My young self loved every minute of playing on that server, the community in the town I was apart of drove me to help the town in many ways, grind for my own benefit, and to learn about all of the fun things I am able to do in Minecraft. Owning my own plot within a busy town on that server was so much fun as a kid for many reasons. It made the game such a pleasant experience and that is why I have created a server in hopes to bring back those days for myself and anyone else that misses the good Towny servers. We have a world dedicated for Towny and also have a world in development for OG Hunger Games with the map from 2012 and a Spleef minigame setup that is fully functional. The server also has edited mobs. They get more powerful the further you travel from spawn, and the more powerful they are-the better the drops! We have bosses with their own mechanics and drops in the server as well! We currently have four bosses in the server with more on the way!

Welcome to MCVoxelCountries, a server about creating your own country or joining someone, you can also be a lone wolf if you’d like. Once you join the server there is no hub, you are thrown straight into survival somewhere in a random spawn. You may be lucky to find other countries that won’t kill you and will give you some items or even invite you. Perhaps you could be allies with them when you form your own faction.
Once you have created your faction you can form your government, a book will be given to you and you will have the choice to write your government, and ranks. Each country can have an economy system and trade with one another. You can build roads, tax others, and basically do what you want. As long as you aren’t cheating or hacking it is perfectly fine. If you want to blow up things, then go ahead. Hopefully for a good reason and not to make the environment look horrid.
You could be a Kingdom, or a Republic, really anything you like. If you need to ask any questions, we are here to help.

To sum up the vision of Hidden Sanctuary, we are looking to expand, improve and add content to the vanilla base game we all love so passionately! Currently we have a team of 5 fivehead developers (With the MC-STAFF role on Discord) that are all ready to develop, now that we have set up our Trello board. I technically started this serverproject 4.5 years ago, starting out as a custom content SkyBlock server. Over the years I have had several (somewhat succesful) itterations of Hidden Sanctuary, it is very unfortunate that I could never find the time or position in life to fully persue my dream of creating a one of a kind MC server. However now that I am in a position where I can do exactly that I am taking on the opportunity with both hands and feet!
As for promotion and to start building a following and name, I am trying to grow myself on several platforms. We own pretty much every useful premium Java MC plugin. On board are several experienced Custom Mob/Map/Worldgen config developers and designers on board. We will be slowly adding more and more content through various plugins. On top of that we utilize scripting logic, using a Minecraft scripting language called Skript with an additional library called SkriptBee. We have a great network, as such we are able to contact any of the developers of said important Java plugins to request features for our server in case we cannot achieve our goals using Skript or already exisitng features.
