Guide
When you enter the server, the first thing you want to do is:
1 – Find a location to establish your base. To do this, you can:
Type /rtp (will be randomly teleported) or
Type /warp livre (will be teleported to a public place where players can build a civilization) or
Escape the spawn by walking until the blocks are no longer protected.
2 – Collect resources and sell them /shop :
Mining, farming, and killing mobs are excellent ways to earn money.
Every 10 minutes, all players earn $10 (premium earns $20 + 1 emerald)
You will need money to protect your blocks.
3 – Protect your base against grief from other players:
First, you will need a wooden hoe to make a selection.
Once you have your wooden hoe, you can start making a selection for your residence. To make a selection, stand in one corner of the area you want to protect and right-click with the wooden hoe. Then, walk to the opposite corner of the area you want to protect and left-click with the wooden hoe. Be sure to select a height that will cover everything you want to protect. This will create a selection with particles.
Protect the selected area using the /res create (name) command. This will create a new residence.
If you want to protect a vertical area, such as a tower or a skyscraper, you can use the /res select vert command instead of the regular selection. This will create a selection that extends from the bottom to the top of the selected area.
It’s important to note that protecting using Residence has a cost of $0.50 per protected block. Regular accounts can only create up to 3 residences, while premium accounts have unlimited residences for half of the price.
4 – HAVE FUN!
You will find tough mobs everywhere. But custom enchants, not so easily.

Our story begins with you, the adventurer, beginning the first chapter named Soul. Starting the lore anew from one server to the next to eventually us, and awakening to a fresh scent of features possibly never seen before. We want to share what was meant to be a community for friends is now a community for the public. For now we grow with you to be limited and starting a meager introduction to this competitive environment but we’d hope for your understanding that features will not be fully polished and complete. If you’d like to grow with us, then by all means please give us a visit and let us know what you think.
Note that we force Discord verification to join the server is as a form of whitelisting. This is for mitigating bots and nurturing true stories from the members joining (possibly) each day, but that’s not the only reasons either. The creativity and explosive ideas we once had from playing together on other SMP plugin-modified servers were crazy to have nearly manifest them into a living Minecraft server project with high goals and dreams of venturing with you personally in-game because we want more friends to share these ideas and simply enjoy them. Eventually the server will be fully open-open, no Discord verification but still be there if players desire it, but a basic process of click to join and you resume where you left your pen at.
Age or gender does not matter. What matters to us is that you really feel like you’re enjoying our presence, feeling true to yourself, giving the feedback you need, and also replying in return what could be fixed or thought about to improve ourselves as a server, community, and person.
How the Real Story Begins…
As the realm grows, adventurers survive in the desolate worlds, learning new advancements in skills and technology to endure their surroundings and adapt. Furthermore, NPCs attempts to prosper are futile by the aggression near them, and the land’s soulless empathy ravages the plane to only unleash fury upon its inhabitants…
Survivors who experience defeat and share stories of their journey with fellow kin are candidates to be entrusted with a grand title. A title bestowed only on those who have toiled endlessly and devoted their lifetimes to grasping the stars. These traits are found to gain wealth in the shape of a divine, drifting estate and fame from the mystical lore of books.

OtterCraft is a friendly PvE, “mostly” vanilla Minecraft server started on 1/29/17. Unlike most servers, we have no land-claim system(make a ticket when you’re griefed, and staff will ban/roll back the damage). Also, All of our ranks are balanced, and go directly against hosting a pay-to-win environment. Most of our community have been around for well over a year, and we’re all here to play good ol’e minecraft, and indulge in fun and friendly chat.

Overview
The ‘Minelanders is a semi-vanilla survival server. We believe that Minecraft can be a political game as well as a creative and PvP game, and our server is intended to lean into that. This means our server includes this general structure:
* Griefing is allowed, except in protected player plots
* Stealing is allowed, everywhere
* Player clans can be created for a small in-game cost, with access to clan chat.
* Protection plots can be purchased in three sizes (11×11, 31×31, 101×101) for not-so-small in-game costs
– The world is restricted to 6,000 by 6,000 blocks, to encourage additional player interaction
– Player shops are available near spawn to encourage player bartering.
– We have no teleport systems, to encourage players to interact with the world and increase player vulnerabilities.
– Despite all this, griefing tends to be less common in our community, as there’s also a desire to connect and build alliances between clans.
The Details
Due to a resurgence of support from our community (which dates back to 2010), we’ve decided to relaunch a minecraft server and start advertising to a broader community. Our new version for this Summer launched 2 weeks ago, and we are eager to welcome new people into the community! Log in to check out our player built spawn, and say hello! There aren’t many major bases public yet, given that the server is so fresh, but there are already a few clans with the largest plot size (101×101) building private areas before becoming more public. With shops and an area for player built shops at spawn, it tends to see a decent amount of traffic.
This server is guaranteed to be hosted for at least the next six months. If the server has an active player base in six months, it will likely be hosted for a full year, as donations have already covered the cost so far. Donations give no in-game advantage, but they make me, the server owner, happy. We plan to expand the world by 1000 blocks in every direction after a few months, to encourage additional exploration.
We hope to see you in our community! You can join our Discord server ( discord.gg/axPxbkt ) for announcements and more information, or just join the server and play along that way. Be careful to protect your things though, some of our players have nimble fingers!
