Knockturn is a community of people who came together to build the world of Harry Potter. The server currently features Hogwarts, DiagonAlley, Knockturn Alley, Parts of London, Kings Cross, and Hogsmeade Station.
The server has it’s own customized plugins. It features it’s own spells plugin that lets your Harry Potter experience come to life by giving you the ability to cast spells and features wand movements and backfires! A potions plugin that lets you do Harry Potter potions with immense skill. A broom plugin that allows you to start out as a firsty with no flying experience, and as you fly, lets you get better at flying, and stop falling off your broom and having it shake! A plugin that allows you to speak with Mr. Ollivander to find just the right wand for you! A plugin that lets you go to class, and raise your hand, and gives our professors full control of the class! Not to mention the Chocolate frog cards! Want to level up? Almost everything you do in the server gives experience, which can be checked with /profile! Once you are at 100%, boom, you can be the next year! This is just some of the plugins that exist, and does not even begin to explain the future of our plugins that are to come.
In addition, everyone has roleplaying names from the start! When you first join, you can choose your first name, then you are randomly added to one of the server’s families. This adds the ability for each person to start with a different story and connects players in their ability to have siblings and make up more complex stories. Is your brother or sister the bane of your existance and losing points? Did they get Gryffindor instead of the house’s perferred Ravenclaw? Are they your favorite person in the world and you would give them stuff in order to make their time easier? All of this can depend!
Want to play quidditch? The server features a quidditch plugin that allows players to start a game and play the game at any time! Just head down to the quidditch pitch and do /qjoin inside one of the squares in the team tents, and you can start as a Beater, Seeker, Keeper, or Chaser. Of course, you’ll need a broom. (Bluebottle op nerf please.)
In addition to all of this, we also feature a survival side and a towny plugin. You can go to mining world and kill people, use magic to aid you, or build a town safe from anyone with all your wizarding friends. Anything you could want can be possible.

Knockturn Networks prides itself on having a mostly custom plugin server. In addition to a map built by our own builders, many of the plugins on the server are unique, and therefore impossible to find in other servers. We have a multi-server environment that currently has Hogwarts, Towny, and Skyblocks, and various other fun activities to keep you occupied. We are a free-to-play server and follow the E.U.L.A. closely, and believe there is no such thing as pay-to-win, our small donation shop only has fashion items that have zero effect on game play and plenty of effect on your style.

loved but now find boring into something enjoyable again, its Towny based but we made a custom nuke which can be placed
on claims but is very difficult to get, and very annoying to get bombed with, even makes radiation that makes mobs mutated,
and its a gold economy so we made it that you are able to hire raiders, which you are able to tell to follow you, or patrol,
they get 5x more health, gain regeneration when on your side and kill anything in its way so be careful with them around
your friends, and there is guns so you build your industries and grind iron so you build your weaponary, and then you can
just flex your successful nation you run, feels so great everytime i write in the chat i feel so important because im the
prime minister in my nation and i own so much land + i can harrass anyone with the army of pillagers i can just get from
my HQ, make them patrol outside enemy towns and just snipe players, and speaking of you can also declare wars if the towns

A classic grinding experience
Do you like grinding your way to the top rank with mining? Perfectly possible!
Do you want to do something else than mining? No problem!
We offer a complex system to make money, with hidden recipes that when found can be used to deal things to other prisoners. Items are actually useful too, with effects like mining boosts, pvp advantages or XP boosts – or some just offer a trip with fun effects. You can also mine with your shovel, since Dirt and Gravel have a chance of dropping rarer blocks than any regular mine. .
The premise is simple: It’s just as addicting as OP Prison with practically the same grind format, but it offers a lot more diversity and different ways to effectively make money.
Focus on PvP
Grinding is cool, and everyone should be able to enjoy it in their own time – but PvP used to also be a vital part of most prison servers. We’re looking to bring this back by offering high incentive to PvP other players, getting shanked in prison is just daily business after all. For Season 1 we’ll be supporting a full 1.8 PvP system – with a grind implemented to get some of those famous “god apples”. Changes to PvP come with every season, with these changes we listen to our community and change things according to their preference. (Future ideas would be bed pvp, crystal pvp, totems, 1.9+ pvp)
PvP needs to be enjoyable, not frustrating, and players need incentive to do it.
Participating – but most importantly winning – in PvP nets unique rewards that can not be obtained elsewhere.
We boast 3 PvP zones, each with their own incentive – KOTH, Envoys & Black Market – and a Gangs feature to allow players to team up and take those rewards in a group.
