Greetings, traveler!

Today, we present to you your next adventure into Minecraft roleplay. Developed and founded by avid roleplayers such as yourself, we are happy to introduce the Isles Of Uros! A fresh new world, brimming with untold adventures and conquests, is almost ready for your arrival! Currently, we are still in development but are on our way to The Alpha release! Below is a snip-it of the overarching lore of the isles.

PROLOGUE

In Umbria, many cannot dream of a world beyond our coasts. To be frank, not many have seen the coasts in the first place. And yet, there has been talk, amongst the common folk, of land beyond the horizon; the infamous isles of Uros. Like a siren in the belly of the sea, Uros calls for those starved of the Umbria’s treasures to start a new life in its domain. However, no one has ever found concrete proof that sirens ride the waves, nor that these so-called isles of promise exist. What can be certain is that many great names were lost in its pursuit. Those who haven’t still claim to have found the isles, but turn tail the moment evidence was inquired for. To make matters worse, archeologists, who had discovered clues on ancient relics, were driven mad with contradictions and hiccups in their work. Dashed of hope of ever unburying the truth of these mystical islands, the great stories of hope and adventure, dwindled to whispers of the past.

I do wonder if there was something people overlooked; the underlying mystery of why Uros was so difficult to find. Perhaps ignorance played a role, as anyone who did get close was brushed off as jesters, and, if not that, fools. However, like a stubborn child, Uros would not give up its game of hide-and-seek for years; was it really just a matter of disbelief? Nevertheless, the secrets of the sea remained just that; secrets.
That is, until now.

Our roleplay setting is medieval fantasy, but the emergence of the Rift, a gateway to Chaos itself, allows all sorts of characters, from modern to futuristic, to be introduced to Lochwind (the current map).

Here are some other cool things we have on Dawn MC!

Custom races that actually affect gameplay (e.g. vampires have a chance to heal on attack, but they burn in sunlight without a helmet)

Welcome to The Garden, a (Bedrock Edition) laid back experience thats been running for 2 years now. Our server is powered by the Forsaken Odyssey expansion made by Nico the Kid. No modding required, just join and download the resource packs.

I pride myself on keeping this world running until i absolutely cant. The only reason the world will be reset is if a new minecraft update requires it, and i'll do my best to work around that as well. Blocks outside of 15,000 in any direction are reset every once in a while to add new land to explore.

This part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars that hold our server up and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future.

The Vanilla Experience

Dominion is committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any any plugins, datapacks, or otherwise which fundamentally make the game easier, harder, or different than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO, Jobs, NPC's and similar on our server.

In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond a shiny yellow name.

Transparency

We believe that it is each player's right to know exactly how much money is raised though donations and how it is spent. In the spirit of this transparency, we release monthly updates on all expenses and donations.

We are also completely open about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. During these times, we allow for open discussion and provide insight into any decision making.

Community Voice

We pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome comments, critique, and honest opinions. Through that openness, we are able to continuously improve our server and community because of your feedback.

For all major changes or addition to our server, be it a new plugin, settings changes etc., we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating.

Playing Together

We founded Dominion on this major principle: Create a space for players to play together, not just be strangers in the same world. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events ranging from one off quick PVP maps to massive large scale build-athons.

Hypercube is a modpack-oriented server that was launched almost a year ago. Originally Ukrainian-speaking, we are now open to the international community and welcome English-speaking players (we have created dedicated international channels in Discord). Currently, there are three realms operating on the server: "Arcane Engineering", "Elven Kiss"and "Cave Adventures"which are based on the modpacks "Create: Arcane Engineering", "Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons 2"and "Alex's Caves"respectively. The server is physically hosted in Finland (Hetzner), has powerful hardware and plenty of RAM, and recently, we developed our own launcher, which installs everything you need to play on our realms automatically. Industrial Earth is a geopolitical server which is heavy in roleplay and we are looking for players! You can roleplay as the leaders of many nations which is set in the 16th century, or you can join as a citizen and fight until last stand. The server has a very small amount of plugins and a dynmap to keep track of all the cities and borders. There are wars, border clashes, diplomacy and even have other activities in different games from time to time. It's a decent server with chill people. A good bit of us are decent builders. Some of us are good with redstone and create cool contraptions, or simply end up over engineering things.

You will spawn in a "vault" have a look around and get yourself some bread. Just a little ways out of spawn is the Shopping District where once you are all settled down we encourage you to setup a shop there.
