Never played a single minigame? Or just here to have good ol’ fun? You found the right server! The Hat offers you a variety of minigames, and there will always be one that you will enjoy. Maybe you like PvP (Bedwars), or enjoy more casual games like Hide and Seek/Prophunt, Murder Mystery or TNT Run. Perhaps you are just here to relax a bit with a nice session of Parkour. It’s all up to you!

There is tons of more stuff to talk about, but you get the point. Many people make a Minecraft Server, just to be able to say “I have a Minecraft Server”. We made one not for ourselves, but for you, and it will always stay like that. Come pay us a visit, join the Discord and let’s have some fun together!

ABOUT US

We would describe our server in one sentence as a fun server experimenting with gamemodes, maps, events and weekly updates to keep you fascinated!

The team has been building a server for the last year (since COVID), and we are ready to see the broad daylight. We feature classic minigames such as Murder Mystery, Hide and Seek and Bedwars, but we also made a bunch of them ourselves.

Here is a list of our current minigames:

ChaosMurder (custom-coded)

Just like Murder Mystery, but with a lot more roles (currently 14, but that number will increase over time).

Ticket-system, select the role you enjoy the most and increase your chances of getting it!

Added neutral roles, that only play for themselves.

Murder Mystery

Murderers vs Innocents, kill everyone or survive and kill the murderers.

Bedwars

Destroy other beds and be the last team standing in this classic minigame!

TNT Run

Don’t fall down!

Prophunt (custom-coded)

Blend in with your surroundings as a block or mob and don’t get killed.

Buy custom weapons, gadgets and perks with in game currency to aid you!

Parkour (custom-coded, singleplayer)

Normal parkour and invisible mazes.

Gadget Parkour, with special items to help you complete special-made courses.

Speedrun your favorite gadget courses and beat your personal best!

Knockback Arena (custom-coded, extremely fun with friends)

Knock others of the map while staying alive yourself and get a killstreak!

Get power-ups to spice up your game.

ZoneControl (custom-coded, mass-pvp)

Capture points on the map to secure a victory with your team

The Podzol Network is all about unique, entertaining gamemodes, such as Wizardry, where you will find yourself when you first join. play.podzol.net

On Wizardry, you slay monsters, survive blood moons, fight bosses, level up spells, go on quests, summon minions, get achievements, find rare items, craft powerful spells, and explore dangerous and ruins. Wizardry is survival, and there is PvP. You can protect your houses using a protection spell (which can be cast on sponges), but beware! If your protection is not leveled up, other players can take it over using a protection curse!

CvZ (Classic vs Zombies) is a remake of the original Dwarves Vs Zombies server which has been shut down.

When the game begins, all players spawn as a dwarf and their task is to gather supplies, weapons, and fortify their keep in anticipation for the coming invasion. The dwarves will have one Minecraft day to prepare for the invasion. The ultimate goal of the dwarves is to defend their shrines from the oncoming hordes – however, they will inevitably fall. The hordes of monsters are endless, and the dwarves are few. Additionally, dwarves cannot respawn – once a dwarf is dead, they become a monster.

As night falls, roughly twenty percent of the dwarves will be randomly selected to die to a plague. The goal of the monsters is to destroy all the dwarven shrines. It is very difficult for most monsters to fight a dwarf in single combat – monsters must rely on numbers to overwhelm and destroy the dwarves. As more dwarves are killed, the ranks of the monsters will grow and the dwarves will be forced to retreat. Eventually, the monsters will overwhelm the first shrine, which will move their spawn up to that point, forcing the dwarves to retreat to the next shrine. This process repeats until the final shrine is reached, where the dwarves must fight to the end to defend their shrine. The game ends when all the dwarves are dead or all the dwarven shrines have been destroyed.

Dwarves can pick a variety of premade kits or make their own custom kits, while Monsters can pick different classes, and can spawn as powerful monsters in doom events.
