I started CoreMC about 2 years ago because I wanted a simple Minecraft community where anyone is welcome from highly technical people to elaborate builders to casual players. I'd tried many other servers but they either felt too easy with commands, disabled certain vanilla features, or devolved into anarchy where nobody could really trust anyone and everyone hides thousands of blocks out away.

Actually Vanilla

The server runs the stock vanilla .jar, for better or worse. There are no datapacks, with the exception of a simple grief logging one ( More info ). All the gamerules are set to default values, and pretty much anything you can do in vanilla is allowed. The world was generated with the release of 1.18 and will not be reset.

Rules

The in-game rules are pretty straightforward and basically boil down to respect each other and the server.

  • No PVP/Griefing/Stealing. Respect the effort others put into their builds.

  • Anything possible in vanilla Minecraft is allowed here, except item dupe glitches. Don't do those.

  • Don't build anything that will cause excessive lag (keep in mind this is a vanilla JAR, so some optimizations and stuff that are present in paper/spigot/etc. aren't present here). You won't really be punished for this unless you're intentionally making lag machines or refuse to listen if you're asked to scale back.

  • Racism/Sexism/Homophobia/Transphobia/harassment of any kind is absolutely not allowed.

  • Hacking (xray, flyhacks, etc..) is 100% not allowed. Mods like Optifine or auto clickers are fine. If you're wondering if a client side mod is fine or not, please ask first.

  • Alt accounts are allowed as long as you're not using them to break the rules. If you have any you want to use let me know and I'll whitelist them.

  • The server has a Ryzen 5 3550H and 32GB of RAM (20 allocated to Minecraft) located in the Eastern United States. It's literally a broken gaming laptop I got for free, though all that's broken on it is cosmetic stuff.

  • To be completely honest with you, it's not very active which is why I'm trying to recruit more players. Turns out retaining people is kinda hard, easy to get bored of it if you're not someone who can keep making goals for yourself after you've reached the endgame. Lots of ppl will just get full enchanted netherite and an elytra and then get bored stop playing. Fortunately the server doesn't really cost me a meaningful amount, so even if it goes through periods of inactivity you can count on it still being online.

About Us:
The Flare Community and its Flare SMP were founded on April 14, 2023, by me, Antimony_Sb. My good friend, who fills the role of creative director, and I aim to provide our players with a relaxed semi-vanilla experience in a mature and "serious" environment. We are an international community, and the primary language is English (the entire server leadership, as well as some other players, are from Germany). Some of our features are still in development, as we do almost everything ourselves in our spare time while striving for high quality.

Phoxis

What is Phoxis?

Phoxis is a small and active Minecraft server with a close-knit community. We strive to enhance the vanilla Minecraft experience through the use of custom plugins, most notably our races plugin, which is currently unique to Phoxis, as well as our custom items and crafting recipes. We are currently running on Minecraft version 1.20.2!

How are we different from other Minecraft Servers?

Races! Do you ever feel bored of the vanilla Minecraft experience? On Phoxis, every player has the ability to change their race, providing a unique and customisable experience. Ranging from Vampires and Lycanthropes, to Angels and Demons, plus many, many more! Don’t worry, if this doesn't suit you, you can always choose the human race for a more vanilla-like experience.

Every race comes with its pros and cons. You can find them listed in the spawn or our discord server.

Other features

To make the players feel more immersed and connected, we incorporated the Towny plugin. Players are able to create towns and nations (if they are ambitious) and invite others to join them. In doing so, you can create alliances, start wars or simply provide a safe haven from those nasty mobs. Towny is also our main form of grief prevention and claiming builds!

Speaking of mobs, we also have custom mobs such as Orcs, Minotaurs and Hellhounds. We also have custom bosses, such as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, to name but a few. We have many more for you to experience and enjoy.

Events

Most weeks we try to spice up the server by hosting events such as Hide-and-Seek and Boss Battles. Winners of these events are rewarded with awesome prizes, as well as all participants who took part in the event! If I were you, I would try and take part in all of these events! We also host "The End Fight" monthly, which is a reset of the end that allows players to kill the ender dragon and fight to the death for the egg, which is used in mythical crafting recipes!

GreenCraft SMP

[SMP] [Semi-vanilla] {Cross-Play} {1.21} {Dynmap} Welcome to GreenCraft SMP a Nations server for both Java and Bedrock. In addition to the standard survival mode we have Quests, Minigames, crates and more. Our server has newly opened so don't worry about being underpowered.

-Nations

You and a minimum of 2 other players can create a Nation claim up to 750×750 blocks and can make up to 5 claims (Which can be resized later if needed). If you don't want to make your own nation you can also join existing ones or go it solo as (while recommended) being a part of a nation isn't required. As a nation you can (with other nations) form alliances, take part in wars or become part of a union.

We have Weekly and permanent quests where you complete tasks in exchange for scaling rewards.

Elemental SMP

We are a unique modded whitelist SMP focusing on community building, collaboration, and longevity. We aim to create a long lasting community where all level of players are welcome. There will be a fully functioning economy with a large focus on trading with others to build everyone up! We currently are hosting our smp with "Valhelsia 6" with added features such as tech, building, voice chat, and much more. There will never be a dull moment and always more to explore. Along with our preexisting features we also welcome all of our community members to way in on suggestions, and discussions. We are a community based project where everyone has a voice! We are self hosted which means we have full control over our server hardware, this means we will never lack in quality and lag will be sparce to none! If you are looking for a new and interesting community to join from the ground level we may just be the perfect place.

We launched, 8/1/24! We currently have 30+ whitelisted members. With an average 5-10 active players online. We are still in the early stages and are looking for more people to join our growing community!

Our system admin team is well versed in Minecraft development and currently hosts a public survival server called Nationiers.
