Hello! Our community is starting a new world after few months of hiatus. This time, we are going to run a small server with few mature players. We are looking for people who can actively play, enjoy farming resource, building, and Minecraft as a whole when played with courtesy in mind. Some server qualities that we hope to adhere:

  • As close to vanilla. 99% of farms will be allowed with exception of lag machine or malicious intend contraptions. Please discuss and ask before building farms. We as a community can see its feasibility. If it is too powerful, we can share it instead of running several of the same farm at once to avoid lag.
  • We will still be running PaperMC for optimization but there will be almost 0 plugins except for management. The setting of PaperMC will be adjusted accordingly base on feedback.
  • Pvp isn't being considered at the moment. This server is intended for friendly survival like Hermitcraft.
  • Small size. Hopefully less than 30 whitelisted players. It will be a safe haven for creativity and relaxation.

This is a 1.20.1 and updating server, with an emphasis on fair moderation (appeals, and punishment only for true rulebreaks), extreme longevity (absolutely NO resets since May 2022) and inclusivity of all people and playstyles. Our vanilla+ modpack with many optimisers ensures minimal client-side lag. Server-side, we have 16 gigs of ram + a Ryzen 9 7950x CPU, the best CPU for Minecraft SMPs in the market.

The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. The Borderlands is much more resource-rich but allows griefing, killing and stealing and has no claims or graves.

THE ORIGINS MOD!

We have a very special mod, the Origins mod! Along with the 9 base origins, we have roughly 61 custom origins, all carefully reviewed so that we can make sure each one is balanced, unique and well designed! You can even suggest custom origins, but it'll have to be high quality. Of course, if you don't like this mod, or don't like your current origin, you can always pick Human or use your free three changes/craft an origin change.
Other than this mod, our modpack is very vanilla-like. We aim to mostly only include features that Mojang could feasibly add.

Will this be hardcore/one life?: –yes, this will be a time limited event. When will the event start?: –TBD once we got 50 players we will set a date enough time to give people plenty of time to be ready. can the event be on a weekend?: –it is planned. Can i pre-team?: –Yes but no VC is allowed since we are using voice proxy chat in the event. How can you stop people from cheating by joining a VC?: –if we suspect people being unfair or it turns out to be a problem we will have the event players all join Stage VC so Admins can make sure everyone is out a call. What if i die right away?: –sadly that's the event but if enough people want to we will keep the server up and running and turn it into easy to allow players to continue to play and join back AFTER the event is over. Will this be recorded?: –yes, i will be recording as well as pudding for a video to come out Do you want us to record for our POV?: –If you can yes please, we would very much like the POV of everyone that dose and can record which could be put into video. Will this be the only event?: –No if this goes well we would like to do more MC based events How long will Civ events be?: –We'd like each one to be 3-4 hours long but that all depends on what's going on and such. Is there PvP?: –yes the first hour or so will be a PVE only phase, which after PvP will turn on and its up to the players to team up or fight!.
