We are a medium sized server, looking for players who like mostly vanilla gameplay and have a strong sense of community.
If you've tried many servers, and can't find that sense of belonging that you felt when you first played Minecraft, come and visit us at one of the oldest public multiplayer Minecraft servers around – we'd love to have you!

PvE – This is our non-PvP server – come along and join us! Players build in survival mode, but only need to worry about mobs! A lot of people collaborate to build towns and cities as for example seen here. Our PvE map reset on June 1, 2024 and is running on 1.20.4. With a fresh, new map you can find some land to build solo or join a town! We also have our Friday/Saturday Games night in which a different player/town hosts a game, which could be spleef, thimble, ice boat races, and even Camel PvP! (Don't worry, the camels stay safe!)

For this weekend's event on PvE we have a go-at-your-own pace Strider Ride Course!

Creative – Our creative server is mostly open world, and a mixture of naturally generated and world painted terrain. Protection is available for your builds, and WorldEdit is free for you to use, if you want to. Community events on Creative include Spleef, Speed Build, and a host of other assorted minigames on alternating Saturdays. Our Creative server is now running on 1.20.4! FrontierSMP is a Survival Minecraft server with the main focus of being a community driven server. Our main goal is to make it so that players have a challenge similar to vanilla Minecraft with multiple challenging factors, but also build around a community. You will find that teleporting is a luxury on Frontier along with varying difficulty throughout the world. Mobs are tougher than normal the further you go and there are bosses waiting around every corner. All 3 worlds have custom terrain with loot per player to promote exploration for all. Main Features:

Towny – We use the tried and true Towny plugin for land claiming and community building! You can create a solo town and build massive farms to become rich, create a huge city with tons of members to help you achieve your goals, or join a town with a couple of friends to create a cozy homestead.

Skills – You can level up fourteen unique skills to increase your stats (such as health, defense, and attack damage). Reaching the highest levels in each skill unlock unique abilities to make you even more powerful!

Jobs – We offer thirteen jobs that pay you for anything from mining, to building, to fishing, and everything in between. Jobs are the most important way to build your wealth on the server.

Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! Shops on the server set prices for goods and services without any intervention, this leads to a very organic economy where you can carve out your own niche. The only admin shops on the server can be found in our mall /warp mall. These shops sell custom furniture blocks like tables and chairs to decorate your base!

Custom Enchantments – Our server features over 200 unique enchantments to build your playstyle the way you want! All enchants are achieved through normal gameplay mechanics.

Craftable Gear – You can craft tons of unique custom armor sets, tools, and talismans to become more powerful or add unique abilities.

Custom Resources – We have resource worlds which reset on the first of each month! Here you can find custom ores and plants which can be used for decoration or can be used to craft some our custom gear!

Custom Fishing – We just released our very own custom fishing system with 170 custom fish to catch! As you catch new fish species you'll unlock them in your "fishdex" which provides information about the fish to share with others in the community who haven't yet caught that species. Can you collect them all?
