What is this ihatecavesandcliffs?

Ihatecavesandcliffs is an anarchy server focused in 1.16.5 for people that do not enjoy the new caves and cliffs update.

What differentiates us from other popular anarchy servers?
I’m going to be talking about the differences from 2b2t and our server since it is the most popular anarchy server and the other ones are basically hard copies of it like 5b5t.
Anticheat
2b2t uses AAC while we use Spartan, we use Spartan so we can make more hacks available and make anticheat less strict as more things are allowed besides things that affect serverside.
Plugins
2b2t has a lot more plugins then our server and we provide more of a vanilla experience when it comes to looks.
Versions
The regular 2b2t server has been stuck on 1.12 and is missing functionality updates like the villager update and the 2b2t test server is on 1.19.1 (on the time of writing this) which is obviously passed the caves and cliffs update which people like myself do not enjoy.

This is a family owned modded server with the focus on building everything in a large world. It gets frequent updates of each mod and Forge Releases.

It’s a secure “Adult” server and whitelisting is required so access should be requested through our website. The focus of this server is NO GRIEFING, owning villages and building out your homes. While PvP is enabled, there must be an agreement with all parties engaged that damage (aka griefing) is expected.

About this server:

This is our new standalone 1.18 Vanilla Minecraft server.The new Server will not have any change in game rules or add plugins as of now. This means this server will not have ‘keepinventory’ activated PvP is turned on, players will not be compensated for lost items in any way. As the name implies, we will not add plugins and buildings will not be protected, although this is not an anarchy server. Please respect other players and their property. A close-knit survival server network. As a community driven server, we use multiple different applications to stay in touch with our friends on the server, most notably Discord. The Wild

A good, simple survival server, running since 2012, close to vanilla but with the addition of Grief Prevention to allow players to claim land to protect their houses from griefing. PvP is enabled, and there is an all-new epic PvP arena, although PvP isn’t the focus of the server – there are plenty of players who play only to build, and do not partake in PvP, along with some who do play to PvP. The spawn area is PvP protected, and the Grief Prevention plugin means you’re safe if you build a safe house. New players are also immune to PvP for their first week (although they can remove the protection early if they wish).

We have a friendly and helpful community, with a wide mix of ages and nationalities.

The world is unlimited, and the spawn building (reachable anytime with /spawn) has portals to “sub-spawns” to help spread out and find untouched land more easily – including one (red) in all-new 1.13 chunks for all the Aquatic Update goodness. Users can use a bed to set their home location to which they can teleport with the /home command at any time.
