Our server is dedicated to creating a friendly and trustworthy community where griefing, stealing, and cheating/hacking is strictly prohibited. Most importantly, our server has no land claims, we have a robust system in place to monitor all actions on the server and revert any rule-breaking behavior. “Equinox is a modless Minecraft server run by Rackkoonz and co-owned by Puppakk. It is a challenging experience, allowing for a modded style of play with only being run through plug-ins. It features a wide array of new biomes, mobs, items, recipes, dimensions, and more. The current state of the server is in beta, with the current version being 0.1. More updates will likely come and continue for a long time. Equinox has been in production for 4 years, however its early life consisted of just custom enchants. 3 years into the project, Equinox started to gain its mod-like status.

When you first start out on Equinox, some of the first things you are likely to notice is the difficulty. While the server is set on hard mode, it really likes to encapsulate the “hard” feeling. Most mobs will immediately kill you in one hit, even with good armor, which can make progression at night feel almost impossible due to the rate at which mobs spawn. If you take it slow, you should be able to progress just fine, which takes us into our first display of new things.”

Do you know where all your wool is – but forget quiz questions? Imagining where you put each item can be fun.

This server is an experimental place to think through memory practices. Mix organizing items with whatever you want to learn. Nametags, written books, containers and anvils can craft memory walks. There’s also Survival, with some pros and cons:

Why reset? There are separate dimensions, 1 for crafting memory places and 1 for finding resources. The memory crafting (flat jungle) dimension does not reset. You can craft a memory place and use it for many months. Plus, it’s more interesting to have a set of fresh dimensions every month.

Here at Vanilla Venture, we try to mirror an experience similar to the old days of minecraft smps, unlike today’s state of servers. We take inspirations from other popular servers such as Hermitcraft and combine them into something new.

Be somewhat active (weekly at most)

Own a legal copy of Minecraft Java Edition (This is not a cracked server)

Have some experience with minecraft

Be at least mediocre with building (no dirt huts, be creative)

Hello! Welcome to the Newest Hope SMP server!

Who we are.

Hello! My name is Tom, and my other friend is called Oliver, we both decided one day to create a small online minecraft community for everyone to enjoy, we missed the old aspects of what used to be the old minecraft multiplayer experience. Minecraft server’s would be around 10-30 players max, have some sort of roleplay element to them and have close knit trading communities amongst them, people would roleplay a specific job and get involved amongst one another for the benefit of all. There was more griefing but in some ways that is what made it fun, you were free to do what you wanted without servers asking for massive amounts of donations or infringing harsh restrictions on to you.

Now we aren’t suggesting you go around griefing, but a bit of tom foolery here and there is accepted within reason.

What we aim to do

We aim to have a fun survival multiplayer experience where the player is allowed to fully express their creative side with fewer limitations than most servers, the only thing we ask of you is to be respectful, we would like to get to know you and trust you over time naturally rather than impose draconian rules and restrictions on you, that is not what we are here to do, were here to have fun and enjoy the game.

Rules

Now there are a few rules in place and they are clearly lined out in the discord, they are mostly common sense rules and dont necessarily need to be listed, you’ll be able to read them in the discord rules chat.

MODS

We have around 112 mods.. But!! a large majority of them are small in size, and only change certain aspects of the game to improve the quality of your experience, without completely changing the game.
