Not your average SMP! Asthonia is a friendly community, survival PVE server on hard difficulty.
Danger lurks around every corner and you’ve been given the tools to handle it – RPG skills and abilities, custom enchantments, and more. Will you survive?

Hard Difficulty Survival

Zombies can break through wooden doors and spawn reinforcements. Spiders have beneficial status effects. Villagers turn into zombie villagers when killed. Hostile mobs deal more damage. Starvation kills.

Level up your skills to unlock special abilities. Level up your mana to use them. Enchant your weapons with custom enchantments and use your power to fight off challenging mobs, or summon a boss and defeat them to earn rewards.

+ Friendly Community

Team up with others, or adventure alone, the choice is yours. Create Lands to protect your base and invite others to your Land to create a town. On Asthonia you are safe around other players, since PVP is off.

This is a server started for my discord circle. However, we’ve run a server in the past, and adding some folks to keep stuff lively is always nice! We’re a bunch of mostly 21+ folks who just wanna vibe and say dumb shit. Shitposter? Spicy boy? Still respectful and vibe? M I E N C R A F T ? We’re for you. This is a standard SMP experience with a lot of the old basics– land claims, shops (but with modded shop blocks etc.), PvP-lite (you can opt out in your claims only, wilderness is ye olde wildy.) All-in-all, a vanilla-friendly experience with a lot of bells, whistles, and extras. Modular Loot Crates included so everyone can loot all the chests, not just the first to them! All without that pesky cash shop. Buy in-game benefits? You can’t even throw money at me. There will never be a cash shop, only donations to cover server costs, if any.

No drama, high levels of toxicity, etc. Don’t be a douche.

No griefing. Raiding OK.

Server in the Woods is a whitelisted, community-driven Minecraft server with some addons seen on Hermitcraft. I have been hosting Minecraft servers for over 6 years now; this is my 5th season hosting a vanilla Minecraft server (screenshots of previous seasons can be seen on the website). Also, at the end of every season, I release a world download on the website so all players can take their work with them.
