Server in the Woods is a whitelisted, community-driven Minecraft server with some addons seen on Hermitcraft. I have been hosting Minecraft servers for over 6 years now; this is my 5th season hosting a vanilla Minecraft server (screenshots of previous seasons can be seen on the website). Also, at the end of every season, I release a world download on the website so all players can take their work with them. YEP, a whopping 678 player quests have been added to our quests plugin, so you will never run out of them! Plus we have also added a cheat detection system

Unique Shop System

Gone is the regular and boring player shop where players can just buy everything. Now you can browse through shops created by players themselves! And that’s not all!

Resource World

This endless stream of resources can become very handy when running out of it. It will resets itself every week so make sure you don’t start to build your empire there.

Unique Death System

We already developed a unique death system in the previous season but weren’t too enthusiastic about it, it was missing the one thing we have added now. Gravestones!

Supply Drops

Supply drops occur in the warzone and are a fantastic way to provide your players with extra action but also items that you can hardly find yourself. So it’s definitely worth the fight!

Black Market

Can’t get rid of your stuff? See if the black market is interested in it. This market will give you the opportunity to sell your stuff. It will refresh its interest every day.

This server is a survival server with a few plugins to make the quality of life better and a few more for fun!! On this server you are NOT able to claim land! You are allowed to raid and grief a persons base if you are feeling like it. We are a community driven server so if you have any feedback make sure to let us know! I recommend running real far so you aren’t at high risk of being raided, and don’t trust many people when you are new! There is NO HACKING IN ANYWAY. A bit about the server – There are no typical sethom privates, spawns, etc. on the server, just imagine that you are playing in your own single world! The server has a small number of plugins that are needed for the normal operation of the server, and for easy management. They do NOT affect the gameplay!

How to play

Hello player, decided to play but don’t know how to start? I will tell you. First you need to register on the server. Once you have registered, you will be at 0 0 coordinates, it is difficult to leave these coordinates but it is possible, so it is better to kill yourself, this can be done by choking in water, jumping from a great height, you can also fill yourself with sand or gravel. Upon death, you will spawn at random coordinates within 200 blocks of spawn. This is where your survival will begin, my advice to you is to build a base no closer than 5 thousand blocks to the spawn. Remember that you should not let people you do not know into your base, and it is best to bargain with other players in the endr world.

Some answers to questions from players

1. Restart is not a WIPE.

2. There are no privates here.

3. The border of the world at 200k.

4. Sid is unknown to anyone.

Hi, I’m running a survival server in Australia, called Mine Down Under. It’s got some plugins, but still not too far from vanilla in gameplay. It’s open to Java and Bedrock players.

How do you catch xrayers/griefers?

We use a plugin called coreprotect to log every blocked placed and broken.

Is xraying for items allowed?

No. You are not allowed to xray, if someone catches you xraying, you get banned permanently.

I host a new server that is normally follower only, and for my twitch channel. My community and I have recently came to the conclusion that opening it up for everyone! (whitelist) is the best way to go to build a more “hermitcraft” like community.

We invite any and all to the server! It is running the Better Minecraft 1.18.2 pack V11.5.

It is a PVE mainly server, with PVP enabled for people who want to. Towns, districts, and shops will all be set up as well! There is currently only a small spawn hub, with a few players homes spread here and there.
